Diano Marina - Italy - Liguria

Diano Marina is a charming town located in the Liguria region of Italy. The city boasts a long stretch of sandy beachfront that lasts forever. It offers attractions that cater to tourists of all ages, making it a perfect destination for family holidays. The town's architecture is predominantly from the late 19th and 20th centuries, giving it a unique charm. Diano Marina has a rich history that dates back to ancient times, which can be seen in the numerous archaeological artefacts from the pre-Roman, Roman, and Napoleonic periods of the Risorgimento era. The resort's most talked-about feature is its beautiful coastline. It's backed by a palm-lined promenade, which is a great place to go for a stroll.
If you cross the road near the beach promenade, you will reach the Palazzo del Parco, home to the City Museum.
The Sant' Antonio Abate Church was built in 1862 and builds its charm on the marble alters from the Frensken family of the neo-classical church of the 17th century.
The little port of Diano Marina is located in the centre of town.
Art and history lovers will not be disappointed, either, as Diano Marina boasts churches, monuments, and works of art dating back to the Baroque, Renaissance, and Middle Ages.
Here, you can find many heavenly sandy beaches where you can relax. A lovely romantic walk along the promenade will round off your perfect day. Numerous bars, restaurants, clubs and shops offer tourists an ideal break from activities. It is a destination for tourists worldwide, with its 3500 m of sandy coastline, equipped beaches, touristic harbour, cosy restaurants, bars and nightclubs, and excellent typical cuisine.
