- See what the Everglades Airboat Ride cruise excursion was like! If you're visiting Everglades Holiday Park where the tour is located, you can see what to expect as well, plus some tips to get the most out of the trip. This particular tour bused us out of Port Everglades.
Everglades Holiday Park was a family-friendly, fun & educational way to spend several hours in Fort Lauderdale if you're looking for something to do. We got to see many bird & animals including the osprey, snowy egret, purple gallinules, the great blue heron, and of course the American alligator.
This was from January 2022 after our Holland America cruise on the Nieuw Statendam. The excursion included transfer to the FLL airport, and there was another tour that would take you to the Miami airport as well. You also have the option of return to the cruise port if you're on a back-to-back cruise.

Thank you so much- will do! 😊 This was a fun tour- you can try to sit at the outside seats of the boat to get the best views. We got the middle and it was harder to see. We haven't been on the Celebration- hopefully in the future. Looks like an amazing ship- have a great time!

Hi Bob & Jill- thanks for the comment! Yeah we didn't have time actually- after the gator show it was time for the bus to leave for the airport. We tried it before and it tasted like chicken 😁

When I drove a truck I use to drive through Gainesville and hoped I’d run over a gator of course I’m talking about the football team.
