Hats off to these 3 sisters from Mexico who have consistently worked so hard to perfect their unique sound. Just about every song and performance is amazing.
"I didn't know MTV was still playing music." I think this took all The Warning Army by surprise as well! They picked a great band to get back to being music television again. These incredible artists have around 50 original songs, including Evolve and their latest Error album is incredible. I hope you decide to react to more. You'll love getting to know these humble yet exceptionally talented sisters.

Maybe not the best I've heard in 40 years, but definitely the most potential in a band I've seen in decades.

The Villarreal Velez sisters from Mexico. Daniela (Dany) on guitar , Paulina (Pau) on drums, and Alejandra (Ale) on bass. First started playing together at 13,11,and 8. Ale just turned 18, Dany and Pau will be 23 and 21 end of Jan beginning of Feb. Their cover video of Enter Sandman at ages 14,12,and 9 went viral.
Dany sings mainly, Pau sings some songs lead, and Ale will sing lead if Dany needs a break or is not feeling good.
This is from their current 3rd album, which they spent most of 2022 touring for. All summer opening for The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm, November opening for 3 Days Grace.
During one show this summer, Lzzy Hale came out mid The Warning set, when Dany needed to switch guitars. Lzzy gifted to her a new custom Gibson Explorer guitar. Dany thought she just got to borrow Lzzy's. After the set Lzzy told her it was hers.

The Warning are three sisters from Monterrey, Mexico that started making music very young Alejandra (Ale = Aleh, not the beer. Bass, backing vocals and keyboard, the youngest- 17) and Paulina (Pau = Pow. Drums, backing/lead vocals and keyboard, middle sister 20) at 3 and Daniela (Dany = Dany. Guitar, lead vocals and keyboard, the oldest 22) 5, all learning classical piano. They got the video game Rock Band and fell in love with the feeling of performing on other instruments. Their father asked if they wanted to learn another instrument and the girls jumped at the opportunity and gravitated to the instruments they played in Rock Band.
They had been uploading their musical journey to CZcams for their family to see and had wanted to try and play music together as a band around 2012 and started rehearsing for a small performance for their school xmas show. Well They loved the experience so much they began learning and playing cover songs of hard rock and metal bands. One song in particular shot them into the limelight. That song, "Enter Sandman" by Metallica had gone viral (currently over 22 000 000 views) and had gotten the attention of Metallica, Dee Snyder and The Ellen Show! The Warning wrote, composed and recorded an EP called Escape the Mind in 2015 to experience that whole process and to determine what type of music they liked to make... Thankfully they chose Rock/Hard Rock! Ellen Degeneres invited the band to play live on her show, to which they accepted and played "Crazy Train" by Ozzy Osbourne, after the performance Ellen and Target awarded the sisters $10,000 each to attend Berklee School of Music in Boston, Ma. USA.
They performed a number of small and large shows afterward and began writing and composing new material for their first full length album "XXI Century Blood" in 2017. They supported this album with some very high profile gigs like opening for Def Leppard and separately The Killers for two shows each in Mexico. Also following other large rock bands in a couple music festivals. In 2018 they wrote and recorded "Queen of the Murder Scene" and released it in November of that year and have toured Mexico and South American venues.
In June of 2019 they released a single, "Narcisista". A scathing rebuke of their Mexican critics that had accused the band of being "Malinchista" a Mexican term used to call out cultural traitors, because the group has only recorded English language songs. Well this song is in Spanish and it is full of attitude and angst fired toward those critics. The Warning is totally fan-funded through Patreon, CZcams and crowdfunding platforms like GoFundMe and Kickstarter. They have turned down offers from record labels and talent shows like American Idol because they did not want to lose their control of their music, image and wanted to focus on learning. In fact in one interview with a record label they were asked if they would rather play to 12 people or 12000. Paulina piped up and said The Warning would rather play in front of 12 if it meant they would keep their integrity and could play the music they want to play, how they want to play... That is the most Rock n Roll quote ever!
So after a very successful Kickstarter campaign to raise funds for a North American tour and to record a new album achieving their goal within 24 hours and surpassing that goal by 600%. Unfortunately the Covid-19 Pandemic forced the band to cancel their tour plans and postpone making their album. Their last live show before the global lockdown was March 14 2020 at the Vive Latino 2020 Festival in Mexico City.This did not stop The Warning from performing though, they played a full concert set from their basement studio/rehearsal space for free for their fans on CZcams and Facebook achieving well over 50,000 simultaneous viewers on March 25, 2020. They have since performed from The Warning Cave a couple more times including for the city of Brownsville, Tx. for the Fourth of July virtual celebration and later in the summer for a charity event with rock legends like Slash and Ringo Star.
On August 9th 2020 The Warning announced to their Patreon community that after seven long months of negotiations they had signed a five record deal with Lava Records, a label under the Republic Records and Universal Music family. During the announcement they reiterated their dedication to their own creative integrity and dedicated fans on Patreon and were able to retain both in their record contract with Lava. In Sept of 2020 The Warning traveled to New Jersey, USA to begin rehearsal and eventually recording of their third album. After three months of recording and a month and a half of mastering, mixing and editing the third album was completed at the beginning of February, 2021. All that remains as of 22/02/21 is the album design and artwork and logistics of the release which will hopefully happen by the end of 2021.
In March of 2021 The Warning was invited to cover a song from Metallica's eponymous 5th album (The Black Album) with Canadian Grammy and Juno award winning pop star Alessia Cara for Metallica's Blacklist album. A 30th anniversary celebration for the Metallica album. They selected to record Enter Sandman, a fitting song because it was this song that propelled The Warning 7 years previous into stardom. The Warning reimagined the song with Alessia and produced a fresh new feeling that goes above and beyond what others have done with the song...

On October 8th, 2021, The Warning released six songs that were recorded for the new album on an EP titled Mayday with the remaining 6 songs to be released at a later date.
Starting on the 18th of Feburary 2022 The Warning started out on their previously twice cancelled North American Mayday Tour. Their forst show was on Saltillo Mx followed by a short set openning for Mammoth WVH in Las Vegas, NV and another short set opening for Sammy Hagar in Austin Tx at the SXSW Festival. This was last March when The Warning opened for the Foo Fighters before 60,000 fans. It was 10 days before Taylor Hawkins died.
Yeah, those sisters are incredible. I'd say their 2022 album 'ERROR' is one of the best of the year, though I only really discovered them last May, myself. I think their best songs may be '23' and 'Revenant', a little slower, and I think the drummer Paulina sings lead on those two.

This session was The Warning opening for the Foo Fighters. The Warning is a band of 3 sisters. Daniela, Paulina, and Alejandra. They live in Monterrey, Mexico and have been rocking out as a band since 2012 (when they were 12, 10, and 7 years old)! Their parents loved music and they grew up watching and listening to rock concerts. Daniela (Dany) and Paulina (Pau) attended a music initiation class when they were 5 and 3 respectively. Alejandra (Ale’) attended the same class when she was old enough. They loved it. They all started classical piano lessons when they were between 6 and 7 years old. When Dany was 7 their dad bought them the Rock Band video game and they absolutely fell in love with rock music and performing on stage…. even though it was just a game. When Dany was 8 years old her dad asked her if she wanted to learn another instrument, along with piano. She chose the guitar. Pau chose the drums when she was 6, and Ale’ chose the bass at 6 (but was too small to play it until she was 7). Ale’ had been playing bass for all of about 1 month when they decided to play together and that was when the band was formed.
Note- their parents never pushed them to do this. This project was 100% the girl’s decision. Their parents completely supported them but never pushed them.
In 2014 they made a video to send to their grandparents to show them how they had progressed in their playing. The video was too big to just email so their dad uploaded it onto CZcams. It was a cover of Metallica’s Enter Sandman and it went viral! To date it has well over 24 million views and was shouted out by Metallica’s Kirk Hammett, as well as many other famous bands. The girls were caught off guard completely by the attention this video got and they had to make a decision- they quit school and started homeschooling in order to devote as much time as possible to their music. They were 100% committed to this project and have never slowed down since (practicing 2 hours a day separately and another 2 hours together daily).
In 2015 they released an EP called Escape the Mind.
They released their first album in 2017 called XXI Century Blood (21st Century Blood)
They released their second album in 2018 called Queen of the Murder Scene. It was a concept album telling the story of a young woman’s journey from desire, to love, to infatuation, to obsession, to psychotic, to murder, to remorse, and finally to suicide. It was an amazing album and was up for an Independent Music award in 2019.
They just released (in 2022) their third album (first since signing to Lava Records) called Error. It is simply amazing!
Dany sings lead on about 75% if the songs. Pau sings lead on about 25% of the songs. Ale’ is a little shy about singing lead but steps in and sings lead when needed. All 3 can literally jump in and sing lead on any song if needed (with no real drop-off in quality) and their harmonies in songs are simply amazing!
They have opened for several great bands including Alice Cooper, Def Lepard, Stryper, The Foo Fighters, The Pretty Wreckless, Halestorm, Three Days Grace, Guns n Roses, and others. They just finished a 103 concert tour for 2022 in Mexico, the US, Canada, Columbia, and Peru.

Bonus- In 2021 Metallica asked 53 artists (including The Warning) to take any of the 12 iconic songs from their Black album and do a cover (any way they wanted to) for their Black List album, commemorating the 30th anniversary of the Black album. Alessia Cara (Canadian pop star) was also asked to participate but had no idea what to do. Because she shares the same management group as The Warning, she contacted them for help. It was difficult to do as Alessia was in Canada and The Warning were in Mexico and travel with COVID was not happening. They made it work and developed/recorded this completely re-imagined song in one week. They got David Bendeth (who mixed their latest album Error) to produce it. They created the music video with the same logistical restrictions. Because of that you will see that Alessia appears as a projection on the wall in the video as she was not there. I have been watching their progress since 2014 and knew they were destined to become a household name at some time, they’re doing a European headlining tour this year, I really want them to come to the UK so I can see them 😃

I had pretty much quit listening to modern rock until i discovered these young women last year. I saw a reaction video to a song off their first album and was instantly hooked and went down what we call The Warning rabbit hole. I signed up as one of their patrons that same day. So much passion, energy, love of what their doing and the sound they produce from a 3 piece just amazed me. I have not seen a live concert since the early 2000s and I saw them 3 times last year, driving 12 hours one way for one of their shows. They are incredible live. By the way, they are some of the nicest people you will ever meet, and they treat their fans like family. One of the most loyal fan bases I've encountered since RUSH. Loved your reaction and look forward to more.

One of the best rock bands in the world!! Love them! Saw them live in three different cities this year.
Three sisters from Monterrey, MX. They started in 2012. They became The Warning in 2013. Today they are Dany, guitarrist 22 (soon to be 23 in January), Pau, drummer 20, and Ale, bassist 18 as of December 13. They just came off a North American tour of 103 gigs in Mexico, US, and Canada. They are all three classically trained pianists and Dany can play sax. All three sing lead and background vocals. They were inspired by the video game Rock Band and two of their songs are available on Rock Band IV. They appeared on the Ellen Show in 2015. They attended Berklee College of Music Summer Program in Boston in 2015. They are fully bilingual as they attended a bilingual Catholic school in Monterrey, Liceo de Monterrey. They started as a cover band and now have 46 original songs in an EP, three albums, and a single. No bad songs. They have a rich collection of live videos, music videos and lyric videos on their channel. There are also vlogs and individual performances. At home they are humble down to earth individuals. This is the best power trio of today worldwide.

I have 3 bands topping the top of my list: Nightwish, Epica AND The Warning. TW represent the future of rock. They have a distinctive sound, are super professional, stage presence, Their music although not as complex as NW or Epica, is really great and so are their lyrics (deep, meaningful, insightful, rebellious) . they are young: Dany 22 (almost 23), Pau 20 (almost 21) and Ale just truned 18, yet they have over 9 years of experience, 3 albums, 2 EPs behind them.
Now you’ve been properly Warned from the best Power Trio in rock! Some 50 other released tracks. They did 100+ shows in North America last year and are heading to Europe this year. 🔥🤘#NumberlyGarfs
The Villarreal sisters from Monterrey Mexico are each musical prodigies, learning rock from the Rock Band game at any early age and they are still young at 22, 20 and 18 years old. They have 3 full albums of original music and not a bad song among them. I am a patreon for them and for one other young artist, Angelina Jordan who won Norway's Got Talent at age 8 singing jazz. Angelina will turn 17 on January 10, 2023 and will be releasing her first album on Republic Records this year. Angelina is easily my favorite vocalist of my 64 years.
Don't know about the MTV thing. I'm pretty sure this performance is from when they opened for the Foo Fighters in Mexico. That's why you see such a huge crowd. CDMX is an abbreviation for Mexico City.

If MTV went back to their old format it would be incredible. I think they are trying a new launch on a hybrid type format. Aside from that, I think The Warning is one of the best bands to emerge over the past 5 years. They have been around longer than that, but their greatest strides have come in the past 5 years since their 2nd EP of Queen of The Murder Scene. They are back in the studio right now working on their new material. I can't wait to see what they come up with.

That was great. I really love the sound and look of the official music video for Evolve. It was the 2nd thing I ever saw or heard of theirs and definitely why I've become addicted to them. Wait till you start going back in time down the the CZcams rabbit hole with this band. It's amazing, magical and inspiring.

After reading through all "The Warnings Army" comments (last I've seen such a thing is "The Nightwish Army") maybe one comment from their label described best what "The Warning" currently is:
"They are not a girls band, they are not a young rock band, they ARE a rock band". I bet the last year was the last possibility to get close to them during a live concert. Soon they will fill great halls and stadiums and I would also bet they'll rock every single place!
The Rock-future looks way brighter with "The Warning" being on this planet. Pick whatever song you want from them - it's a banger or something else. They are constantly doing what another Rock-legend said a long time ago: "You can do whatever you want with my music, but don't make it boring". This was Freddy Mercury. Well - it was said in another context but it described also very good what these three sisters are about. And the fun part about it: They are NOT boring in a good way.
Ah - and BTW: Another good "family-act" may be "Liliac".

This band seems incapable of putting out a bad song. I have listened to their albums Escape the Mind(2015) XXI Century Blood(2017) Queen of the Murder Scene(2018) all indy released Error(2022) with Lava and not one of these had a song on it that I would skip or not listen to again and again. Pretty amazing considering that as of today their ages are 22 Dany 20 Pau and 18 Ale. They are already superstars in a lot of countries. Definately the future of true Rock.😉
It's funny how some reactors look at the girls in early requests, and they're all like, "Eh, I'll get around to them someday." But, when they finally have a listen, they're like, "OH!!!!" 😳😆

The Villarreal Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers who live in Monterrey, Mexico. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (civil engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English speaking school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. A year or so later, they got "real" instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 22, 20 and 18 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #46 original songs.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 2 more times during the 6 shows I attended on their recent North American MAYDAY Tour.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

This was great. I knew you would like these sisters. As for suggestions I would say skip back and forth between their earliest and latest works first. After that you can decide if you want to do their second (concept) album Queen Of The Murder Scene as a full track by track reaction. Pau, the drummer, has described it as a musical novel and is well worth the commitment and time.

Most definitely the new faces of rock ‘n’ roll. Their tenacity, passion and lust for music is inspiring. Their creativity, musicianship, and determination is commendable. I beseech you to explore there very early work, especially the TEDx and enter the Sandman videos the Metallica enter Sandman cover in 2014 opens your heart to these lovely young ladies, the TEDx videos from 2017 makes you want to adopt them your journey through the fast collection of cell composed work is a joyous journey. The vision of the world through their young eyes is both wise and revealing I’m just a old hippie from Memphis, Tennessee, and these ladies have reawaken, my lust for music has enabled me to feel it again not just hear it along with their most recent touring partners, Lexus Hale of HaleHalestorm and Taylor Momsen of the pretty reckless, who, by the way, was Cindy Lou, who in the Grinch who stole Christmas movie and also the blonde chick in the Gilmore girls at age 16, she gave up a acting career, pursue her love of rock ‘n’ roll in her case start off with take me down progress up through her catalog. One of her newer releases 25 is a phenomenal treat back to Lzzy Hale. She is the voice of rock ‘n’ roll, her brother Arejay what is a drum prodigy at age 6 they’ve been around for quite some time she has collaborated with so many great artist to name a few Eric Church the Mongolian metal band, the HU pronounced, who also Amy Lee and Lindsey Stirling just to name a few she is also a Grammy winner for best heavy-metal band you simply must explore these fine rock and metal bands. The warning as you can tell all female, the others are female lead he will not be disappointed I would go as far as to say you will be inspired, and that will be all from the @ rocknrollpapaw from Memphis, Tennessee I am subscribing just to follow your journey

What! MTV!? I have never seen this clip! But it is awesome. The rain is falling, but who cares about the weather when TW is playing!? Seeing their earlier stuff and then the later makes one proud over them and I really want them to reach that first headlining arena performance. Hearing the sound of Ale, Pau and Dany through arena sound systems. 🤘

I think the The Warning Army has filled you on their bio now so I will just leaver some Warning song suggestions: Disciple (official music video is cool), Error (official video often get blocked), Choke (do the live session because the official video gets blocked), Money (the official video taken from this same show as Evolve, which is them opening for the Foo Fighters about a week before Taylor Hawkins passed away) all from their latest and 3rd album. Queen of the Murder Scene is their 2nd album and it's a concept album (or rock novel) and it's best seen/heard in order starting with Dust to Dust and all the songs were played at Lunario CDMX so that is a good show to use to react to QOTMS. The debut is also great and the title track XXI Century Blood, Survive and Black Holes are among the best of what is also a great album.
