How to record w/o hearing yourself in fl. Press on the channel you're recording with, then press the little green arrow on the master insert ;) hope this helps

How to record in FlStudio:
Add Edison to an empty mixer.
Mute the mixer.
Press record in edison and play the beat at the same time.

Press the record button in Fl Studio's transport to record straight into the playlist

To record in FL Studio just select a insert slot for your mic, select your mic 1in and 2in or whatever you ussually select [DON'T select the INSERT SLOT with the EFFECTS in it] towords the bottom left you'll see a green circle , turn that down and there you go. Also if you want to mix your recorded vocals just rout them to the effects/mix channel you've created.

Hey, thanks for the tutorial! In order to not hear yourself you have to click on the arrow on the bottom of the master channel, with any other channel where you have your mic plugged in :)

i think i'm getting this right (i dont have fl in front of me right now) you can stop hearing your own voice by recording into edison with enable asio and set master output to your sound card and i use wavtap for the insert you assign edison to, and nothing for output, but it will still be recorded into edison. this element works with almost everything, external or not; or you can try setting playback delay to 1 set the delay to ms should solve the problem after you click a small speaker icon in edison on the far right side.

What is this program
I might be late, but all you have to do to not hear your mic feedback in FL Studio is go to your mixer and press on master than lower the little volume knob that goes from your insert to the master tab.

If you don't know how to record in fl studio without hearing your voice use the edison to record your voice, but mute the sound. I'm not sure if that messes anything up, but it works fine for me.

Hey did "Pitcher" and "TAL-Bitcrusher" come with your FL studio 12 pro? or do you have a different version. I couldn't find bitcrusher but did find the rest but after using them and trying to save FL told me I didn't own the "Pitcher" Plug-in! Should I have this plug-in? I feel like they shouldn't put plug-ins on the program that you can not use. Such a let down... Is there another way of doing this or a way to get these Plug-ins for free???
TAL Bitcrusher is free and Pitcher came with FL Producer edition
That's odd because I have producer edition, but it doesn't allow me either of those plug ins it takes me to their site to purchase the plug-ins... Am I missing my plug-ins?

To record without hearing yourself, you need to unlink the mixer track (wich one you record with) and the master
