there is a class action lawsuit concerning truvada because it destroys your kidneys, bones, and liver. i was taking it and my doctor sudddenly switched me to something else (i'm hiv positive). it wasn't until years later that i was told about the kidney and liver damage. if you notice the lady talks about urine changes. that's because of the kidney/liver damage.

Yes, Truvada is approved to be used as pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) medication in patients who are confirmed negative for HIV-1 infection. If individual is confirmed positive , truvada will have to be used in combination with other antiretroviral drugs.
