I mean, I'm as big of a Kurt Cobain/Nirvana fan as there is but to be fair - TOTP was an absolute decades long institution in the UK that helped launch many a band from first hit newcomers to legends. I think others might just as fairly look at it as arrogant of a brand new band to come on the show and insist they be the first in the show's history to play a fully live set. They could've just politely declined. Of course, everyone, including TOTP I'd imagine is happy they didn't. It made for an absolutely classic moment in music history but still, the point remains.

You have to remember almost all bands that mime on TOTPs (at the time) fucked about while doing it. If you were a (real) band It was sort of acceptable to mime on the show... only if you did something to clearly telegraph the fact that you were miming. Such as wearing boxing gloves while playing guitar.
At the time, the story going around was that he sang like Morrisey as a joke.
To make out that was anyone sticking it to the man is daft... Just a great band having a laugh on a pop show mostly for kids.
They couldn't help it if it happened to be the band and the song that came to define the time.

This highlights exactly what is wrong with modern bands. Nowadays bands are all "Thanks so much for letting us play, we're so happy to be be here playing for you, thanks for this opportunity etc etc". The rebellious, humours attitude isn't there and if some band did have it, the powers that be are so good at controlling everything these days, the mainstream would probably never even hear about that band.
Nirvana was the ultimate example in the 90s of just not giving a solitary sh*t. They knew what was important and what wasn't and they knew what they could get away with. Playing Territorial Pissings live on Jonathan Ross show instead of Lithium was another masterstroke. And trashing the gear.
We were so lucky in the UK, we had 3 Nirvana TV appearances, all within the space of a month, and 2 of them were literally legendary, still being talked about 30 years later.
I miss maniacs like Nirvana. They had the songs, the attitude and an awesome sense of humour too. Ultimate combination!

That's left to be seen. Once you have a child the last thing and biggest fear is to be gone and not be around to watch them grow, tech them and protect them. Cause children love everybody and don't understand the evil that ppl are capable of. So as a parent we strive and do what it takes to protect them. His stomach was fixed finally, he was on Buprenorphine for Addiction and had a baby. He wanted a break from being Nirvana front man, not living life. Realized he was married to a twat that slept around on him and only cared about fame and money. Nobody leaves her without paying the price. Kurt, Kristen, Eldon, Toby, Mary Lou, Cathleen etc. Only ppl said he was sad was her after he was gone. Everybody else said he wasn't and was doing so good.

@@Andrea1542 No. Didn't say it was. But I have 4. And I was molested as a kid by a man who was very religious in our church and my parents divorced after mom had endometriosis and had to have those organs that's vital to having kids that trans ppl think is not vital to having kids.
I know a thing or 3 about depression, suicide, etc. I'm saying that when ppl with those issues have a baby, especially a man who has a baby girl, we want to protect them. Not die and be gone for them to be all alone.
I have many reasons for believing he didn't die the way is said. He had help. CL knew where he was dead at when she was over heard by Attorney Rosemary Telling Dylan who was with Tom to CHECK GREENHOUSE. She had a list 1 get arrested. She did on that day. But Dylan didn't listen and do what was told. Tom asked Anywhere else? Nope. So after learning this she called Veca and said Start on Green house with lighting and security Friday. And what do u know, he was found in Greenhouse By Gary smith.
Coincidence like El Duche telling Broomfield that CL offered him 50k to whack Kurt, where to do it, but he told his friend allen, I'll let FBI catch him and he's dead within days. Passed 2 polygraphs also. And all Gov agencies still to this day give that test to all job candidates. Last person to see him alive was,?, Allen wrench. Who said I dropped him off at Liquor store and last I saw him. But when asked by writers Halperin and Wallace he took them to exact spot he was hit by train. I was a drunk. I had levels that would drop most ppl but for me was normal. It's easy to assume oh he was drunk and fell down in front of train and it cut his head off. It's not that easy or simple.
