The problem is, C9 lacks discipline even back in NA. That's how it goes in the early to midgame when your team is ahead one mistake can ruin your game. This is C9's issue they struggle under pressure, especially in the late game. In contrast, Falcon is different. As the game goes on, their discipline shines. C9 should have fixed this issue when they were still in ph, but it seems like Coach Midnight might not have noticed it.

A coach can only do so much. It still depends on the players. Midnight has always reminded the team about discipline even on simple RGs. It's totally on the players.

It wouldn't happen to C9 if they always practiced for those kinds of events. Like in game 1, they had a 7k gold lead and took Lord, but why did it end up being a 50-50 retri battle? They could've just team fought since they were so far ahead. It's like they don't know what to do in those moments, as if it's their first time, even though they've experienced it before in NA. C9 always does that, even in RG.
I don't know why they can't see these issues. Maybe even the coach doesn't know what to do in those scenarios.

I have an excel file that you can input data for the upcoming matches into, so for group D, assuming both falcon esports and cloud 9 loses to Falcons AP Bren 2-0, the only way for cloud 9 to make it out of groups is to hope that XYG 2-0 Falcon Esports then Cloud9 2-0 XYG, then it will be a 3 three way tiebreaker, other than that, C9 has no chance of making it out of groups unless they take a game off AP Bren which is never happening
