Goa never dies! it's music for just a few people mainstream if crap, as we saw many "psy tracks" in 2005~2010, time of mainstream psytrance, just craps but real Goa is for few people, as some have already said here
Felipe Kruger what an elitist speech, goa is for everyone i mean not everybody can understand it but the music is universal, that's not because we are a few to get it that we are the choosen one
+MikizikK You damn right ! And we've to popularilze this kind of music, cuz it really deserve to be know and share to everyone ! but i agree on the fact that psy trance sound less awesome after 2000
Well then, I agree that everyone should have the chance to listen to Goa, but I do agree that this music is for the very few with that specific music taste.
Even today I think this is one of the best Goa trance songs ever made. Not the best full-on psy, not the best suomisaundi - but definetly one of the best goa trance songs...
All ultimate electronic genres (belgian new beat, eurodance, goa trance) devolves quick because being perfect is an unstable state on the side of Gauss curve.
Yes Goa trance was better. It was something unique. It had a spiritual element, and it was a part of me becoming interested in Indian culture, religion and philosophy, and eventually becoming a buddhist. I was a teenager in the 90s when i first heard it, and still love it 😊 👍
@@RokuroMusic Mmmhhh... so it's all about the riffs... not the first time I heard about that. Thank you for your comment man! I'm going to drop some riffs on a acidistic bassline and see what comes out of there.
@@Overxpossed i think it was in the goa days was lots of riffs. probably now the groove. but yes no halm in trying a good solid riff. Dinos new stuff he played me is really fresh. just great production and rhythm.
@@RokuroMusic I just got the 20% of the message, but's okay. You know, I discovered goa by accident, long time ago, in year 1999. It took me about 10 years dicovering which music genre I was listening to. I live in South America, so goa and the like is not familiar here. From there, I started to shift my composition to goa psychedelic kind of thing, with solid elevated high state of mind in the riffs, but I had to understand everything by my own in order to compose. I have not achieved the perfection and beyond, but someday. That's why I take your comment about the riffs, so carefully. Thanks again man!
@@Overxpossed im steve Ronan from Cydonia, ayahuasca ,Phreaky... etc Rokuro is a alias for tv work etc. when we made , in fear of a red planet in1999. so was loads of other stuff coming out then too. Haha, Man i noticed you got it from the alectronic music guild, thats where i got it from to! is there anyway you could tell me how to get the complete album Tribel Science? I cant find it anywhere. thanks
@dracul876 goa is real music, but most peole don't like it, because it has some kind of a strong energy indide of it. Everybode prefer newer trance, ibiza, dream, etc.... real trance is forgotten in the past :)
For what it's worth goa is the only trance genre that still has some integrity left. Goa would be the best genre ever, if it weren't for the hippies and all the annoying, superficial hindu and buddhist iconography. GOA RULES!
@dracul876 you are little right dracul...there is psytrance AND psytrance...and these days psytrance is shity..and if shity=not very psychedelic..but what means psychedelic for you?..just do not follow the name - one name but different levels of psychedelic experience.all you need to do is choose carefuly what is high quality for you and get rid of the rest. but goa-trance is a killing spree anyway:)!
Im sory for being a copycat and i love the hippies, but you got to addmit it is annoying to see hindu iconography, but i dont mind the buddhist ones. And if it wasnt for Ishkur i would never found out about goa and psychedelic trance.

Beck in the old times 😀 Love old school goa trence !!!!
Have to agree with Dracul. Goa trance was the ultimate musical genre that devolved sadly into psy trance.
check out DAT records , Anjuna records , Zion604 records and Suntrip recs .. and even Altar recs

And tbh a lot of Goa is kinda just not.... it doesn't hypnotize well 😅😪😔

Classic Goa (psy) Trance! :) 5*
the melody at 2:11 is like body being decompressed in vibrant blocks of energy...
How it's supposed to sound! Flow with the rhythm and mind numbingness

funny,
the production sounds a LOT like MWNN, the snare rolls, the drums, the bassline... anyway, great track
Philip Clinckspoor MWNN was one of the producers of this track. The others were Dino Psaras and Steve Ronan.
