Skiing Antarctica with Ice axe expeditions

In november this year I got an email from my friend Stein, asking if I wanted to join on a trip to Antarctica together with IceAxe Expeditions. Easiest yes of my life. I don't really have words to describe it other than absolute magic. Sometimes you get extremly lucky and this was one of those times. I will never forget it.
A massive thank you to Ice Axe expeditions, Stein, Ashleigh and Doug for the opportunity. Legends are what you are. And a massive thank you to Frankie, Kate, Eric and Etienne for welcoming a strange swede in your group.
And the biggest shoutout to Etienne, Eric and Stein for the incredible work filming down there in crazy conditions.

Ugh, so depressing listening to you speak about this piece of the world and nature only from the perspective of all the thrills it gave you in terms of "experience" with skiing and bla bla, so sadly clueless and oblivious to climate change and the inflict human behaviour has on nature and wildlife there... jeez

Sorry to hear thats your take away from it - personally that's not how I view it but each to their own. This was a nature and wildlife experience and I just wanted to show the love for nature from seeing places like this. Oblivious to climate change is however not true, but this video is not about that.
There are tons of really good informative videos about climate change in the world and Antarctica made by scienticst and researchers that have a lot more knowledge than I do, I recommend you watch those ones. Have a lovely day!
