Another super cute video!! Thank you for treating us x
Aw, thank you lovely!
I love history. Currently, I'm reading about the Black Death, which occurred in the 14th century. I usually alternate a fiction book every five or six non-fiction books. This helps me not to exhaust my mind, as non-fiction subjects like history or philosophy can be somewhat demanding at times.

Oh wow! I haven’t read much about the Black Death - have any good book recommendations on the topic?? That’s a great idea, non-fiction can definitely be tiring! I want to do the same thing and alternate :)
@@keeleyalanaballantyne I'm reading "The Great Mortality" by John Kelly. The author is a bit repetitive, especially in the first part. His allegorical style can sometimes be a bit too dramatic, but it's interesting how he describes the daily life of people of that time and how the disease affected it. He follows the path of the disease, from its origin in Asia to its spread through Europe and back to the region of Russia. I'm at a particularly sad part, where he describes how the Jews were persecuted and killed because they were falsely and maliciously accused of being responsible for the plague. For our generation, which recently went through a pandemic, the book also describes many behaviors that we observed during our experience with COVID.
@@a.a.1245 that sounds so very interesting and also, extremely sad. Thank you for the recommendation, I’m putting it on my tbr! A tough topic, although very relevant considering recent years.
Another great video! If you want to combine fiction and non-fiction I might suggest the Erast Fandorin novels; set in imperial Russia following the story of the Russian Sherlock Holmes, and written by an authority on Russian history (who is currently living in London I believe).
Ooh thank you for the compliment and great recommendation! They look really good, I am putting them on my tbr!!
