I got nostalgic by seeing this because in village we still have such house built by Ancient method which are sometimes more than 100 years old
My home is approx 150 year old
In MP we use kavelu in place of slate

A stray dogs in my locality was suffering from initial stages of maggot wound
I sprayed it with dmag spray after consulting with vet doctor.

Lovely.... We also have such type in previous... I mean typical with yellow color from forest design outside the door and window ....I have also worked..... These type of houses are suitable for each type of weather.. I mean cool in summer and warm during winter..... Lovely

I am surprised why you have not considered lime (chuna), which is used as a construction materials for centuries. There are different forms of lime used as plaster, ceiling, filler or even paint. Just ask your team to explore and then use.
lime is expensive than mud,clay....here clay consists of 30-40% of lime and silica its good enough to construct with it.
Mera purana ghar b mitti or salet ka bna tha. Bachpan mein hamne b bahut gara bnaya hai.par hm bushhe ke sath Bagad ghas ka use b krte the. ❤️ From kangra Dehra. ❤️
Here in Nepal, you can see mud houses especially in ktm valley. And get shocked by the architecture. Newari architecture!
