Space child services really needs to step up their game
Space child services would first need to expand their services to a very large galaxy all the way to planets in the outskirts like tatooine
and even if they were to get to Anakin they would still take him away from his mother (who is a slave who would not have the resources to take care of her child) if Shmi was in slavery due to debt.
On the bright side it would make Anakin's recruitment into the Jedi order even easier.

I am in child services far into the future and in a galaxy far far away from Anakin.... I am worried when charismatic leaders take people's children and isolate them.

If Palps is still Anakin's father, then Palps is Rey's grandfather and Kylo's great-grandfather. TBF, we had Luke x Leia, so it's not that farfetched that Rey and kylo are related
The most common assumption is that Darth Plaguies is Anakin's father because he is the one who was able to create life.

She unironically might have been if she were still alive and didn't know more than most civilians. A lot of the general population thought that the Jedi betrayed the Republic, Anakin died a hero, and the empire era's rebellion was a terrorist group no better than the trade federation separatists were. Even Luke Skywalker thought that the empire were the good guys before they killed his aunt and uncle.

That confused me too - of all the things Shmi could have been unhappy with the Jedi for, Anakin always staying cooped up inside the building was not one of them. I was thinking at first it was some dramatic irony about how Qui-Gon obviously doesn't know that the Clone Wars are coming and Anakin will be out in danger all the time, but even with that it doesn't make sense. And there were several moments where I thought there was going to be an obvious joke but it didn't come.
it confused me too because I don't remember much of the movies taking place in the temple? They are always out on adventures@@EmmettMcFly55
For the record, you can leave the Temple if you want. No one's forcing you to stay in there.
And even as a padawan and a jedi, they still go on various missions outside of Coruscant.
Also Quigon taught in a non-traditional way and I don't think he would have said "no attachments".

That’s because there was a war happening. The only time the Jedi would ever leave is missions, which before the clone wars they didn’t have much at all. Especially if you’re younger you’re not really going anywhere.

It always bothered me that both the Jedi Council and the Queen of Naboo never thought that they could put Anakin's mind at rest by buying his mum out of slavery and perhaps taking her to Naboo.
They just left her behind on Tatooine, wearing cheap clothes and living in a mud hut, while they had a nice big celebration on Naboo after her son blew up a giant spaceship. No one kept up with what happened to her over about 12 years or so - as she was sold off, married, kidnapped, tortured. I wouldn't even do that to a dog.

it sounds weird until you realize this is a common concept for millenias except it's monks and not space wizards
Why is that better?
Monks usually join voluntarily when they are adults. They aren't typically slave children won in a bet.
Anakin joined the Jedi voluntarily as well. He was not "won", the consequence of the bet was that he was freed. You can argue that he was talked into it and since his mum was still a slave, he didn't have many other options, but he was given a choice.
And I don't know much about other religions tbh, but in catholicism in medieval europe, it was common to sent children into monastery.

Well Anikin is still bringing order to the galaxy by killing all the jedi which were taking children away from there families and were basically restricting any emotion or understanding of other communities, and Anikin Is trying to destroy the rebellion which are basically space terrorists.
