A good breakdown of jolt and unravel would be very nice to know. I feel like those are complicated effects and it's nice to know what dps or % DPS increase they provide.
Also if voltshot/jolt source affects the damage of jolt would be good to know. Keep it up 👍🏻
Source doesn't affect jolt damage any more, and since the nerf, both tick sources are very low DoT
The source of jolt does effect the damage. That being said it is very inconsistent.

the storing of BnS (tapping 2nd weapon before shooting the BnS weapon) is a pretty cool feature, surprised you actually thought of it and tested it out.

I'd love to see a video about the best ( from both a top damage and most practical perspective ) builds/rotations for doing solo dungeons. Since Bungie seems to insist on making dungeon bosses ever bigger bullet sponges having a good damage strategy gets more important unless you have several hours to spend on a solo attempt.

I think I'm too much of a smooth brain to go for complicated minmax tech, but for me survival has always been more priority. I'm just glad we have people like Aegis to break it all down so we titan brains can grasp the concept better. I had no idea BnS was that forgiving
Would recommend pairing Distant Tumulus with supremacy instead of the ikelos sniper. It can roll with clown + firing line, this way you do not have to worry about focused fury and with rain of fire you don’t meed to worry about reloads. I am honestly not sure how to even get it though since I had mine since season of the worthy.
Not obtainable atm (?) and worse ammo econ but still a good substitute

I like kinetic tremors mainly because it staggers enemies and that has saved my life multiple times. Also it is good for small area ad clearing, to me it isnt really a dps perk. Although it does increase your dps.
Would love to know the dps benefits (or drawbacks) of using cascade point on a lot of guns. It’s quickly becoming one of my favorite perks just from how much fun it is to dump a mag, but I’m getting a gut feeling it is massively hurting my overall dps and possibly burst dps by having to proc it.
Zero total damage gain, ~66.6% DPS gain on most weapons

Hello Mr. Aegis. I was talking to my raid team about backup idiot proof dps setups on the off chance that Ir Yut moves too much or whatever. I brought up Levi Breath, but was told that not long ago people discovered that it dealt more damage on high fps, making it inconsistent. Assuming this was fixed together with chunking I started testing to confirm, and sure enough the explosion does double damage past ≈150fps. It reminded me of the health glitch that happens if you use a rocket to proc B&S on itself, so I thought why not test it at different framerates. Turns out that the B&S bug has the exact same behavior as the Levi Breath bug, it only works on high fps. If I cap my fps to 60 I can never get the B&S healthglitch to work.
You mentioned that you tested Levi Breath on two PCs at multiple framerates without noticing any difference in health bar damage. You also mentioned in the boss sheet that the B&S bug only works in solo instances, might that also be true for Levi Breath? Or was this incorrectly assumed do to the nature of lower framerates in raid environments? I think it might be worthwhile to test the B&S bug at different framerates on raid bosses. All Levi Breath testing I've seen from back in season of defiance when the bug was discovered was done in solo instances.
Another way to put this one to rest would be to test Levi Breath and B&S bug on high fps in a solo raid instance like Templar.
Something worth thinking about it might be FPS actually I'll go check that out after day 1
From what ive seen the double damage glitch of Levi only works on lost sector bosses and not raid bosses

When it comes to the Double Special nerf, will you make a new video or add a segment soon regarding the changes and how it changes the loop? The decrease to heavy ammo is noticeable and I know I can run Special Finisher, but I've been seeing people drop Double Special.

For volatile rounds, could you not have a hunter with Omnioculus and tractor cannon be the one applying invis for your team? no need to stop shooting, that way? or is that not how gryfalcons work, do you need to apply invis to yourself?
Someone else can apply invis to you but I'm not sure why you'd have a Tractor when presumably everyone involved is also on some form of Tether super
I don't know where to ask this exactly so I'll leave it here and hope you see it, but does the reserve mods being disable for day 1 impact bipod vs BnS on Apex Predator? Is one going to be better than the other bc of reserves being disabled?

Have you tested snipers, in particular veist rapid-fires, with firing line and rapid hit/4th times the charm? I'd be very interested to know where those stand with the rapid-fire frame buffs

Every time i see you swinging an enhanced eager edge sword i wonder what am i missing. Even though u have the same crafted version, it seems that i get less momentum (and thus distance) than you. Is it a POV issue? maybe low mobility on my part?
top tier content, also when using assassin's cowl if you melee with the solar crystal the kill counts as empowered melee and triggers void invisibility.
Enhanced Eager does affect velocity you should enhance it

GMs is where multi shot mag perks really shine on rockets

I reckon cataclysmic might end up being a top tier day 1 choice with the weaken seasonal mod
Its base DPS is too low and you can proc RFR in other ways easily
So in the bait and switch section, i assume you can do something like hit boss with witherhoard then swap to merciless and shoot all of merciless and once the ammo is gone, you can swap to apex and still proc bns?

For a day 1 scenario, if a boss is a crit boss similar to Kalli, is Sleeper or Cataclysmic better?
Depends on the damage phase. If it is a short dps phase probably sleeper. If it is long catalystic is unmatched. Also ammo is probably a concern and catalystic is ridiculously ammo efficient either way.
Cataclysmic does ~87.5% more total damage if you do the trick to get 43 shots off (~62% more total damage if you dont use a quick reload strat), while sleeper does ~15-18% more dps. Sleeper will use all it's ammo after ~22 seconds, cataclysmic will have enough ammo for around 50 seconds of dps if you do the reload trick and hit your crits.
tl;dr Short damage phases where you'll get plenty of ammo afterwards will have sleeper be better, cataclysmic much better for longer phases or where ammo is harder to come by.
If we ever get a boss like that again Izi sniper and Cata are probably going to be the play
