I just came across this video and I loved it. My husband and I are going on the mexican riviera cruise in July 13, we done this cruise twice before de pandemic. I'm going to watch the other videos and take notes cuz I don't want to take excursions. They spend a lot of time driving rather then exploring.
Awesome! Glad you enjoyed the video. We hope you have a wonderful cruise!! 🛳️🌴☀️
Thank you, we’ve done the Best of Mazatlan tour before but never ventured out on our own. Watching your video we went out to almost all of the places you guys did and it was exactly as you described it. Very easy and police everywhere like you said. We did the Cathedral, market and stopped at the Beatles memorial and headed back. Thank you again for posting videos like this.
Thank you for your kind words! We're glad it worked out great for you and that you're enjoying the videos. 😀👍
I just got back from the same trip 2 weeks ago… Was a very fun trip. Wish I had known of you guys CZcams channel because i stayed on the boat in Mazatlan’ and from the looks of the video it was nice.. Thanks for the pov…🤘🏽🙂
Hubs and I will be visiting this port in a few months and I found this website very informative!! Thanks
Have fun!
Thank you for this!!!
You're so welcome!
Love this! So much better than the bus tour I did. You got to see a lot! You are braver than I am with the alligator! 🤣
Thanks! We had a great time in Mazatlán! Love the Old Town and the Malecon. The Alligator was good and fun to try! 🐊
I was taking solo trip last summer, and I felt like I could not explore further than the port by walking when I simply checked the port, so I had only left the ship for 30mins. The exit was crowded and the gate made me feel like I could not walk further...On the other hand, I did love to have an extra sea day.
It's always nice to have a quiet ship! Thanks for watching! 🛳️☀️🌴
@@NorthernVikingExplorer I was not on purpose to stay on the ship though. I was solo and nervous, and the port did make me feel like I could not walk further unless I bought excursion or got into the taxi :(
@@yushengwixoss Hopefully you get the chance to go back and take an excursion or travel in a group. You are right to feel uncomfortable when traveling alone. Safety is most important.
Very informative video. I'm definitely going to check out your other videos too. Thanks! Sub'd!
We appreciate the support! Thanks for watching and happy travels! 🛳️☀️
Alligator Balls 😂😂😂
😂
Love the vlog. We are planning this cruise in June. Do you have to wear mask on the boat?
You will love it. No masks were required on the ship.
👍👍👍 💞 🍻
Looks amazing we’re really enjoying the Vlogs in anticipation of our first cruise in September. How much paseo’s would you recommend to take for the cruise for Taxi’s, drinks etc? Did you take your own towel for the pool or are they provided in the changing room?🛳️🎉👍🏻🇬🇧
Yes, so much fun! You'll have an amazing time. We didn't bring any pesos and only brought US dollars. All of the stores seem to take US dollars and give you pesos as change. We usually bring about 300 to 400 US dollars for spending money for the trip but usually don't spend half of it. But of course, if you like your beverages and souvenirs, it's easy to go through that fast. 😀 Any larger expensive excursions that we may do, We usually put on the credit card. As for the towels, you can take them off the ship but they are quite large. We have our own small PackTowels that fit in our backpack. The washroom at the outdoor pool is very small and does not have towels. Thanks for watching and your support 👍
Awesome video! Your day looked amazing! Myself, my wife and 14 year old are doing this cruise in March, so excited!!! Any secret tips or tricks for this sailing? Btw, we’re first time cruisers.
Glad you enjoyed the video! You will love the cruise, it's so much fun! 🛳️🌴☀️ One of the best ways to find tips is to join one of the facebook Carnival Panorama groups.
Thank you for your reply. We’ll take at look at the FB groups.
Did you walk from the ship to the ocean? And did you feel safe.
Yes, we walked from the ship to the ocean. It's not too far from the cathedral area. We have done this several times and have felt safe. Just make sure to follow the blue line into Old Town.
Not sure if this is a silly question LOL but what do you do with your stuff at the beach? Do they have lockers for your bags or just leave them on the beach? Also do you bring towels from the ship or buy on the beach? Always wondered this. Thanks!
This trip there were 3 of us so 1 person just stayed with the stuff while the others swam in the outdoor pool. We have found lockers in other ports but I'm not sure of any in Mazatlán. We have also left our stuff on the beach and kept a close eye on it. But we definitely don't like doing that. As for towels, you can take them from the ship but make sure to return them or you will get charged. We bring our own Micro Fiber towels that are very small and much easier to carry around in the ports. Thanks for watching and Happy Cruising!!
Did you use pesos or just dollars
We used American dollars and then we would typically get change in pesos and try to spend those first. If you don't want that many pesos, try to carry smaller bills so you get less change.
do you do any of the carnival excursions?
Not on this trip we didn't as we feel pretty comfortable with these ports as we have done them before. We do plan on doing a Carnival Excursion on our upcoming cruise that visits Belize.
Great channel. New subscriber. Gonna be in Mazatlan for first time soon. Question. When taking the taxi to the malecon did you request a specific drop off location and if so where or just tell them malecon?
We took the city bus. However, if you do take a taxi, they should know what the Malecon is. The one option would be to tell them McDonald's on the Malecon as that is at the closest end to the ship and near where it starts.
How far was the walk? I would love to do it but there are 2 in my group that can't walk SUPER far.
It is about 1 mile to the Cathedral area in Old Town, 2 Miles to the cliff jumpers / outdoor pool and 6 miles to the Golden Zone. If it is too far of a walk, there are plenty of Taxis.
Hi! How far is the walk to that beach and the pool in the ocean? We are going in April and have 3 kids
It's a fairly decent walk. About 1.5 to 2 miles in each direction. There were also plenty of taxis that would take you there as well.
Very cool video, quick question: When you did the outdoor pool where did you put your stuff?
We had 3 people in our group so we took turns watching our stuff. I don't remember seeing lockers.
Hi, Enjoyed your vid !
What month of the year were you there?
I'm going for my 1st time Sept 2nd.
This was the last week of August. You will love it!
Did that pool area have lockers where you can secure your stuff? I'm worried about opportunistic thieves, they're everywhere.
No, I don't believe there were lockers. There were three of us so we had one person stay with our stuff the whole time and kept swapping out.
How long is with walk
It is about 1 mile to the Cathedral area in Old Town, 2 Miles to the cliff jumpers / outdoor pool and 6 miles to the Golden Zone. If it is too far of a walk, there are plenty of Taxis.
Did u use US money?
Yes, We only brought US dollars.
