This doesn't have Chop Cup parts to it? I have been looking for a metal version of Cups and Balls that includes Chop Cup in it.
I did not mean to post this as a reply, it was meant as a separate post.

    nice looking set
    TCC packaging is great.
They are hit-or-miss with tutorials (I wish they would say whether they are in English or just English-subtitles)
Their ad copy is not always accurate or full reveal (some effects are diy construction! surprise 😮)
    Thanks David 👍👍

Great review David and agree with your comments.
I would encourage any new magician to buy some cups and balls, maybe cheaper ones so you can see if it's for you. I bought the two videos many years ago of Mr Ammars teaching and you won't go wrong.Top class cups and balls from tcc, must say I havnt practiced with my old set for ages so will have get them out again !

Been buying magic for decades bought some magic makers when I first really started studying but loant them to these younger street performers who lived in building and they never gave em back fifteen years later I finally picked up TCC artistic combo set at a huge discount. Not sure what makes their price point so high compared to these but the don't hold the orange loads that all the street guys like. I thought this set might but have heard the inner capacity is even smaller than the artistic set?

I got the original 'Artistic Combo Cups and Balls' in the old brass and it comes in an awesome velvet bag, and they look wonderful and came out long before these. They are a wonderful looking set, presented amazingly and they look wonderful in photo-shoots ... but after doing cups and balls for well over 20 years, I have to admit these are way too heavy and may way too much noise when doing some 'flourishes' or some 'moves'. I found my fingers having issue with balancing in certain moments, or the ways I prefer to do things (to make it look like I am one-handed holding the cup 'without a ball') would fatigue my fingers/palms and cause pain. I mean I love them, I really do, but for doing my busking or bar work (constant routines over-and-over again) I will not use these anymore, I will use my older sets that are lighter and ever-so-slightly smaller

David, That is a beautiful set of cups but they look small? They definitely look smaller then Johnson Product Gold Cups. For the final loads, I doubt a tennis ball will fit in those cups. Can a Lacrosse ball fit into those cups? or at least a Racquetball fit in those cups?

I ordered the silver set of these cups. The exterior is beautiful, but the inside of each cup showed a series of burn marks, presumably from the electroplating process.
After practicing with them for just one week, the inside was showing areas of extreme tarnishing and corrosion.
I sent an email to TCC customer service, along with photos, requesting a replacement set, as advised under the return policy on their site.
They claim to respond to such requests within 48 hours, but after nearly 2 weeks, I hadn't heard back.
I filed a claim through PayPal, which I had used to purchase the cups. PayPal gives the vendor 10 days to respond. TCC still had not responded to PayPal after that 10 day period, so I was issued a full refund.
Perhaps it was just a defective set, but I have to say I'm not impressed with the cups I received, or the customer service experience.

They are a beautiful set. I like the heft. However, due to the design of with shallower top, at least compared to my Johnson Cups, and weight it makes it hard to turn over by pressing with your finger or wand. The site also mentions a bag, but it doesn’t come with one. They are currently priced at $99 (reg. $150) and you get another 20% by using their coupon code. Sale price ends today, November 20th.

I made a make shift wand for my artistic set with a stick and some metal ends but the stick isn't hefty enough to turn my artistic set and put a few scratches on them. So @magicorthodoxy when will you do a top ten (3?) wand review.

So i bought the artistic combo cups a couple weeks before these came out and was a bit bummed cause even at a discount i still paid almost a hundred bucks more than this set.and feel the chop cups messes up the routine sometimes.(i just need a non chopped set of balls) but would love to see your thoughts on these vs the artistic combo set.

For beginners who are looking for a high quality cups and balls with instructions, I will recommend Penguin Cups.😊
For this TCC Product, I was expecting it to come with a Chop Cup bonus feature included. 😂

@@keithwolfe-festivalandstreet Penguin Cups are made of Solid Copper. And even included a drawstring bag. As well as a Video Download too... Not to mention that right now, Penguin Magic is holding a Black Friday Sale. Giving out plenty of Magic Free gifts and discounts.

    For beginners? Solo cups.
For hobbists ? Pay what you can afford but do $100 cups fool more than $20 cups ?
Sterling silver doesn’t make your galloping post any smoother but a little extra weight is nice
