Fun fact: this Gen M5 was going to set the fastest cannonball run, from NYC to LA, of all time but a hostage situation in the Cajon Pass of I-15 shut down the highway for hours. If that hadn’t happened, they were on pace to potentially break the record in 24 hours.

By far, the best-looking modern BMW sedan!
Almost exactly 3 seconds to 60 mph with pretty significant wheelspin is incredibly impressive.
With less wheel spin definitely a sub 3 second car. ~~ I’ve seen as fast as like 2.8 or 2.9 seconds.

I think the blue and leather interior color combo is stunning - taking on almost the teal/orange contrast that is pleasing to the eye. I don't like the integration of the centre console display - better integration lends itself to more issues with repairs - but anyone with half an IQ point would lease this BMW and now Finance.
Overall, great car.

I don't know how BMW does it, but this is probably one of the best cars you can buy. The CT5 blackwing gets outclassed by this, but it's also an amazing car and working on owning both.

sadly the car is getting a redesign top to bottom, and if you havent seen what bmw has been doing to their cars then youd know that this is the last generation that the M5 or 5 series in general will ever look this good,

I just bought my F90 M5C last night, when people say 100 feels like 40 in this thing they aren't kidding. All i can say is its effortlessly fast and feels incredibly solid.
The M5 has been my favorite BMW ever since the 2012 M5 and it still is to this day !

I’m 🍀 enough to own an F90 M5C and very curious if this will be the M5 generation to keep, as newer iterations of M-cars are going in a direction that I’m not too fond of…
I worry future versions will become too complex and too bloated.
I too have a '22 BMW M5C (same exact spec in this video) and keeping mine. F90 are the last of the pure ICEs.

Hows the comp compare to the cs? You drove em both. Steering, dynamics, etc?
Great question. Honestly, I couldn't feel the mild bit of extra power in the CS. The weight savings were slightly more noticeable under hard braking and willingness to change directions, but we're talking maybe a second per lap faster on a track. The value of the CS will be its rarity, not dramatically improved performance.
So what do u think they should do about the gloss black I feel like there’s really nothin to replace it with that looks just as good or better

@MilesPerHr yeah, I think bmw is underestimating their horsepower figures a little bit, it probably makes like 635 or 640 hp at the crank. That would be my guess.

Hi Miles, you compare the M5 comp. with the CT5-V Blackwing and Joe Raiti compare the CT5-V Blackwing with the BMW M3, it´s a little bit weird but where is right? because he made this job for many years has a lot of cars at home and nearly 1 million subscr.
Hi Alen, both the M3 and M5 could be cross-shopped with the CT5 Blackwing, because the BW is priced in between the two, and its size is in between the two. Joe isn't wrong to compare it, but frankly, neither am I wrong to compare the M5 to a CT5 BW

Agree. The hockey stick headlights on the face-lift version do not say "BMW". More of an Audi look. Plus, the face-lift front grill is bigger, and they made it poke out towards the front - Why? BMW is known for short overhangs front and rear. They look better. The circular gauges on the pre-facelift also look better than the trapezoidal LCI. They are more sporty and M-car looking. 25:50

That is now 617 hp. Most BMW`s are with underestimated HP. It is probably around 700hp stock
