Tikka builds sweet rifles.
Quality from Finland 🇫🇮
Agreed, I have the T3X Lite Stainless/Synthetic in 6.5 CM. Got some handloads dialed in, and it shoots sub 1/2 MOA
@@oceanpyrate I have the 6.5 CM too, and a 22-250. Installed aftermarket trigger springs to get trigger pull to about 18oz. Both rifles are deadly accurate.
Deadly accurate just like the Finnish snipers.@@steveavant9727
they do
Man I just can't stop watching this guy on shooting guns and giving lessons
Good Old
America Only
Wish Born There 😢
He's the godfather of YT gun videos.
@@stevehope6283
The GRANDFATHER who can't just shut up and shoot!😲😲😲
He MUST tell you every person who has ever owned the weapon, how he knew them, why he has the weapon, AND the history of development of the weapon.(even he just told you that same thing about another weapon 2 hours ago)😛😛😛
If it goes bang, he likes it.
🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪🤪
Tikka T3 is by far the most popular deer rifle in New Zealand. Not only are they economical to buy they all tend to shoot very well. I currently own two Tikka. Great rifles 🇺🇸 🇳🇿 🇫🇮
I came here to say this! Everyone has a Tikka 🇳🇿
@@Anthanos89 I am 51 years old. My first Tikka was the pre-Sako Tikka Model 55. I have owned many of this model in particular. Exceptionally well made rifles. As are the new ones. I also own a few Sako’..
I thought NZ took all your rifles away lol.
Only the military style were taken. Legitimate hunting rifles and shotguns are ok
@@davidneal6920 "military style" lol.
That rechamber sound is amazing 🗿
Nice shooting! People don't realize how heavy the gun becomes and starts to wiggle the more fatigued your arms and back become. That's why snipers sit or lay down with a sandbag or some other type of rest to keep the rifle steady. That is a beautiful rifle I would love to own! Thanks for sharing.
Awesome video. I’d love to see some of the new Remington 700’s now that they’re making them again!
Me too!!
tikka, tikka, tikka
I have an '89 Rem700 and a 2023 Rem700. No comparison. The '89 is better built.
I heard the newer 700's aren't the best, the quality control is lacking. Still a legendary bolt action rifle though. The movie Shooter has made me even more obsessed with the rifle. I have a Remington ADL, but want a PSS.
I bought a CTR in 6.5CM on a whim about five years ago and found it to be a quality firearm and extremely accurate. The only thing I didn’t like about it was its weight. It eventually went down the road, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because it was just a dalliance with another chambering. My main squeeze was, and always will be, the .30-06.
Thanks for the video.
That's one hell of a rifle. How do you recover after the recoil?
@@alastair9894 easy. Just get a 300 magnum, because you didn't have one yet. ✌️
That’s the perfect shooting jacket, also the accuracy of this man in varying weather conditions over the years has been monumental.
Fun fact: "Tikka" means "dart" or "woodpecker" in Finnish 🇫🇮
It means bbq in Urdu
@@nbk2134hence “chicken tikka masala “ oh American cousins.
@@jonjames7328 Wasn't masala that been her guy's childhood friend?
Now if there was BBQ Woodpecker Tikka Masala , that would be some shit right there boi! 🤣💯🏴☠
Thank you Hickok 45.
That scope mount is kind of high, but for a loaner you use what is readily available.
Thank You.
Love your work ...
Awesome video nice Tikka rifle thanks for sharing Hickok45
Love my tikka smoothest and easiest releasing bolt I have ever felt
beautiful rifle, thanks for the video
Man Tikka continue to just have beautiful firearms and the suppressor just makes it look so good. Ooh she’s a beauty and I love the creedmoor. This would be a top pick for my collection if I owned one. I’ll put it on my list for my tax return 😆
Love your videos! 2A forever 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you. Love this rifle action
Did not know buds gun shop was right next to smokey mountain knife works. I been to smokey mountain knife works 2 times now and planning to go back this year, I always go up there to buy zippos and I just don't buy ordinary zippos. I buy zippos that call my name out from feeling the love it went into making that zippo and that's just my own unique trait. Hope to go see buds gun shop one day when I go to smokey mountain knife works again this year
I have this rifle and it's essentially 99% of the way there to a perfect rifle and all for a decent price. To find a rifle that gets that final ONE PERCENT, you're probably looking at spending 3-4x the money. Tikka makes the thinking mans rifle; accurate, reliable, good trigger out of the box and a smooth action.
Nice - thank you for the video - offhand shooting is difficult! I was considering a Sako S20, but after some research I like this Tikka more (Sako owns Tikka, so the quality is still there).
I've said this before but there used to be a video on here where some random dude took a tour of the Sako factory , where they build both Sako & Tikkas... he interviews a builder and asks what he's doing ... "Ohh I'm assembling barreled actions, putting the barrels into the actions ..." and there is a bin full of barrels and a bin full of actions ... and as he assembles them, he puts them into two different "boxes" , one for Tikka and one for Sako ... and the dude asks, "So... you're taking barrels, and putting them into actions ..." - "Yeah and then the ones that will be Sakos go HERE, and the ones that will be Tikkas go ->HERE..." ... "But you're using the same barrels and the same actions for both..." ... "Right..." ... And you're the same builder for both... "Right..." ... "So basically Tikka is exactly the same as Sako, just cheaper priced?" ... and the guy just smiles at him and goes back to work. So... I am very comfortable with the quality of my Tikka versus a Sako.
I think that will be a CTR. That scope is so high off the barrel. Surprised you could get a cheek weld
Good day to all.
Nice Shoot 🎉
great rifle john thanks for the video
I got a Tikka T3 in 9,3x62.
I don't like the plastic mags and plastic triggerguard and stock. They are a bit.... Plastic.
But other than that it's a great rifle. Very manageable with a supressor. Use it for moose here in Norway.
I'm pretty sure I've gone elk hunting in Norway and moose hunting in Canada, and it concerned the exact same animal. Same rifle and chambering here.
Good morning. Thank you for the video.
Destined to be part of Hickok’s collection.
I have a t3 stainless laminated .243 it is a hunter, set up for cold barrel shots if you keep the barrel cold it shoots 2" groups at 250, if it gets more than 3 rounds at a time it gets cranky and the groups open up but it's not a heavy barrel bench rifle..
OMG. Tikka from my home country, Finland ❤🇫🇮💪
Excellent Machine!
Nice gun also!
Great rifle. Great shooting.
Tika is class.
Just subscribed and turned on the notification bell
Nice shooting and good video!
Somebody's been watching who tee who videos. "Boo-let" 😆Another great video Hicok45. I always consult with you before purchasing a firearm.
I love my Tikka rifles, gotta get me a ctr next
2:45 minutes in he hiccups. "I could like this baby". But leaving that orange crush at the end, despicable! But at least he mentioned that it's a 6.5 creedmore, once or twice. Tikka!
Hi, very nice video as always, thanks for sharing
Hello Hickok45
Very nice Rifle 💥💥💥
I love my Tikka 7mm Rem Mag.
Nice ! I almost bought one of these years ago 😅
Mine is now a 358 win. Great gun !!!!
I’ve got this gun in 308. I love it. I put a little muzzle brake on mine. Made a world of difference.
Same. Mine is stainless steel.
I use TIKKA 300 WSM in Southern Africa
It’s an amazing rifle
Y’all have the best day ever
You have Steady hands Sir👍
just got one of these in stainless steel 308 and it is OUTSTANDING
I love your videos, but im so jealous. I wish I had a PLAYGROUND like yours... maybe one day God willing 🙏
Wow. Love the channel mate 👍🏻🇬🇧🇺🇸
Shooting is always Fun sitting or standing 👍
Awesome Video Looks So Fun
That’s a sharp rifle 🤤
Nice rifle. Just finished a safety course and going for my gun licence atm. In Australia we can get bolt actions so been hooked to target shooting. Hoping to shoot out further distances with something other then a 22😂
Hey, as always, good shoot'n!😊
The extra weight of the silencer would take it's toll.
Nice job Sir!
Famous pistolero becoming famous rifleman!
I love this gun
Great rifle ! I have 1 in a 243 but what’s with those scope mounts ? The scope is at least 1 inch too high
More fun than a birthday🤠
Knowing your love of AR rifles and the 45 70 I'm wondering when your going to review a 45 70 auto ar
Just watched the 4 day old "where do you get your news." One of your best vids. Very true we need critical thinking not "spun points."
Y’all should review the Taurus ts9 that just started getting imported
Hi Hickok 45, please can you test a phased plasma rifle in the 40 watt range next, thanks 👍
would like to see what you think about the new “Berretta brx-1” straight pull bolt action that’s new to the market.
I love tikka , i have the 30-06
Awesome!
I love my Tikka T3 in .308
Although I like scopes. Take the scope of, Hickock can hit his mark most of the time
Dis makes me happy but I still wish I was old enough to own a M14
You didn't knock it over but you sure hit it👍
Between holding the rifle that and that hot barrel, I couldn’t have done half that well! 😊
The Canadian Forces Arctic 308 Tikka is an open site beauty.
thought they were still using the lee enfield back from ww2 bygone days.
Love mine in 308
This is a sniper gun 💥
Tikka, TIKKA, tikka.
The poor man's sniper rifle.
🇫🇮 top quality
beleza de arma meu amigo 😎👍🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷
I have a tikka marsala chambered in 338 korma magnum
Looks like a CTR 😉
Nice rifle
謝謝!
Appreciate it!
Nice rifle setup, like the suppressor, take the boom out of the equation. There's so many decent rifles available these days, most have triggers that are smooth and many are adjustable.
Can you do a review on your favorite 10mms?
Sweet 👌
Life is good 👍🇺🇸
Watching full
Excuse me but it's a Tikka CTR !!! Not a Tikka TCR ... Got one in .308 for hunting / range : great rifle. Thanks for the video and greeting from Switzerland !!!
I was confused by that also, I have the same gun, 3x15 leupold on mine.Love it. I think mine needs a tactical stock.
I was just testing you all. :-)
Thanks, I fixed the title.
Arma top demais se é loco 😍😍😍 👉💥.
In a .223 this is a really nice rifle
You look better with your 24 inch 44 mag lever 💯👍
Life is good 😊
The problem with a scopes is the rifle gets sighted in with a bench rest then you can't hit anything standing free hand. I'll bet you could hit better with open sights as you usually use.
I still prefer a nice wood stock, the weight helps steady the shot.
It's almost 10lbs as it is
I think it's the precise characteristics of a scope. With iron sights, you can miss occasionally, but you just put the sights back on and shoot again. With those cross hairs, you see your movement on and off the target more clearly, and it just messes with your mind a bit. You're way more aware of whatever degree of "unsteadiness" you have, even though it's the same with iron sights.
I had a Tikka T3 in 300WSM and regret selling it. Dropped red hinds at 500 yards easy as.
mr hichkok can you make a m16a4 fully automatic rifle video please.
So my love sniper rifle
Nice
Surprisingly loud with a suppressor.
l know boss how hard it is to keep still with a scope some time's , man ! But you were 99 percent on . Ka-Blam , nice camera work big John !
I never understood the necessity of suppressors on large caliber bolt guns. If you're shooting 300 blackout or something subsonic it makes a little more sense.
