Last I’d eaten this recipe was when My Mother made for me 1980’s ! Suji -Rava chapati 🫓 is a lesser known excellent easy digestive, post illness recovery food for patients with long time fever, stomach infection (both children n adults) - Try this!

Look like you used rice flour is not suitable for making rice roti. Please change it and try. Use any roasted rice flour/appam flour/pathiri flour/ idiyappam flour

@@bhusanur.cooking, rice flour? No, I did not use anything other than rava. I did not even get to the point where I'd need to use rice flour to roll it. So, I just wet my hands with cold water and pat the rotis and called it done for the day. So, pl lmk if you have any other tip. And thank you for writing back, I appreciate it! 😊

It may depend on the quality of rava you use. You can use the same rava that you usually use for upma. Once it is cooked, it should have a texture similar to chapati dough. Knead it well and roll it.

Yes, you need to dust whenever you feel sticky while rolling. That was cast iron pan
