Who’s here from joe rogans podcast ?
..all of us...
Timothy Gritz only reason why I’m here bro ,
I wanna make drones that see better than people and watch the environment and migration
PowerfulJRE is cool
May JOE be with you
Meee
BABA BOOEY! You go Joe!
Lidar the coastal waters and the Sahara. That will be histories renaissance.
YES!!!!!!
What a fascinating statement
I like your mindset
I wonder whats deep under that Sahara
Siberia too
Many would prefer all the royal residences & golf courses around the world to be done first, see what the elites are so concerned about the general public never knowing about, lot's to find!
We live in an amazing time. Some of these people havent been thought of in thousand(s) of years. Insane.
You realize this is the start. In 10,000 years no one will remember any of us
At least now all of the archaelogy digs over back breaking, hot, mesquito ridden work will know what they are digging.👍
Fucking absolute banger of a song in the background
i dont mean to be offtopic but does any of you know of a tool to get back into an Instagram account..?
I somehow forgot the account password. I would appreciate any help you can offer me
@Jamison Felix instablaster =)
@Randall Sonny I really appreciate your reply. I found the site thru google and I'm in the hacking process now.
Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
@Randall Sonny It did the trick and I finally got access to my account again. Im so happy!
Thank you so much you saved my ass !
@Jamison Felix Happy to help =)
Cambodian lost city was the most fascinating find bu LIDAR. If it is just a drone with a monitor, then it should be widely available, for new enthusiasts like me. Simply fascinating.
Rather than paying attention to the video, I found myself searching for comments about that masterpiece of a soundtrack lol. I’m gonna come back again and again just to hear that lovely and addictive tune!!!
I cant get by the fact she keeps saying lee dar
Having the same problem! Lol
Whoever did the music for this deserves a Grammy.
Reminds me of Croc 2 from PlayStation!
Got me a new ringtone.
the music and "lee-dar"...I couldn't
If they use LIDAR in the area where El Mirador is located in Guatemala, they will find structures way older than what it is known now.
What is most interesting is that we have not mapped the entire planet with LiDar yet. Google, Apple and other tech companies did it in a year or two to build their simple map programs for telephones and apps using exactly the same technology combined with cameras. What is wrong with the archaeological community? Why aren’t they as innovative?
Funding. I’m an archaeology student trying to figure that part out. We all need to be Laura Croft to pull of what we want.
@@kiraneko8d369A robust, entry-level LiDAR system comes in around $23,000 (USD). A drone to go with it comes in at $10,000-16,000. Additional costs include accessories for your drone, batteries, a base station, and a GPS rover which can add $10,000 to the total.
Not the mention the time/manpower to map the whole planet. You'd need hundreds, if not thousands of these systems and just as many trained people to capture the data, then many powerful computers and a dedicated program to map the points to be visualized in software.
The funding
@@twotwotwo871 that can be funded by increasing 1% of tax on people like elon musk and jeff bezoz and then taking that money to fund projects like these.
@@twotwotwo871 this is fucking miniscule shit compared to how much the elite are robbing us. Stop excusing theft
Thanks Cryto-Anthropologist for this video.
I believe this technology can help people clear landmines.
Great idea👍
Thank you for your informative lesson on new technology in archaeology. Important!
We need to use this to do an extensive search of coast lines and our oceans as well as other bodies of water. So cool!!
3rd EyE Productions KFH i agree! I'd definitely like to see how well this works underwater.
I'm wondering who controls this technology. THAT'S probably why we haven't heard more about what surrounds us underneath us😒
@@CryptoAnthropologist didn’t they find a pyramid like structure in the mid Atlantic?
They could use this music in Guantanamo .
Interesting subject. The music has all the charm of a spike driven into my forehead.
That song is gonna be stuck in my head for so long now!
Use lidar over Antarctica!
Look up how lidar works, it wouldn't work in antarctica
They wont anyone to many govt secrets there
Never
Maybe discover the mountains of madness? Maybe a frozen Shogoth?
More people commenting on the music than the LiDAR LOL
Nice video. Freakin amazing technology. I can imagine archeologists being insanely mind-blown
Excellent video. Thankyou!
Thanks for Lidar , now all the lies told to us for centuries will come out in the open. And All Glory to the Most High for this tech. 🙌🏼
the word lie is in the name....
@@jshaw4757 ...Light is in the name, actually. Did you even watch the video? 😩
@@flowerchild777 don't remember why I commented that long time ago lol lemme check happy new year
Fascinating! Keep up the great work in discovering new digs and hope you'll take lidar to the Nile Valley to find new things about ancient Egypt and what lies buried under the pyramids and those ancient cities!
loved it ... interesting ... and explosion of insight ...
Good video and sick theme music 👍🏼
Nicely done. Informative.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it. Still testing a couple free LIDAR tools available to the public. :)
Awesome video
It MUST be used in our brazilian Amazonia.
I agree!
Great video. Thank you
That poxy background music is incredibly annoying!
Bro chill
Liked it
Rather have it turned up to cover up the speech impediment.
That’s funny my first thought was this music is perfect, and I see in comments everyone is on the same page, nice video thumbs up
Very interesting thanks
I found the Mayan discovery to be the most fascinating Lidar discovery.
It's truly amazing. I hope to one day be able to visit that part of the world. I have been to Angkor Wat and the sheer immense size of that place is incredible. Aside from the main area that everyone knows, there are so many spots scattered throughout Siem Reap that were once part of that empire.
Nooo Gordon you're Deamn Fuuul
Pronunciation is the most interesting discovery !
Very good
Angkor in Cambodia great stuff
can it find my missing library card? i know it's in my apartment. that narrows it down significantly
stfu
couldn’t you be more creative lol
2.03 Freakin Awsome
can the lidar lite v3 do this kind of scans ?
Tikal the best looking place and in Guatemala 🇬🇹
Sonic Adventure
Phonetically it is supposed to be pronounced "Lydar" as in spoken North American English. Sounded sort if odd hearing it pronounced that way. SUPER loved the video! Very informative. !
For some reason I've spent a lot of time reading about Lidar, and just assumed it was leedar. (Looks that way to me. Haha) I've since been reminded everyday in the comments that it's wrong! Anyway, glad you enjoyed the video.
get those things to the Richat structure and the entire Sahara pronto!
Guatemala and Amazon such an intriguing place, I need to see more of that
dope video
All off them and can't wate to see what information they find in all the different areas learn more about humans and to see if there any articles found that are mind blowing and could change history and make for a better future
Wow! Cambodia😍
Imagine all the lost shit we all rdy built massive cities on
Pronounced Lie-dar.
Narrator said themselves: Light + radar = LEEdar hehe
just about to write the exact same thing.
Narrator
@@laca852 Thanks edited.
Yeah that does piss me off....Lee Darr
A yank can't pronounce diddly squat!
This is amazing ... had not seen the Mexican city , that is just too cool .thanks
Have you seen the latest one at Aguada Fenix in Mexico? Doing a vid of that one shortly.
It would be cool it we could dig these up
You never know what you may find.
That beat is dope I love it
this happen all over the earth,... so many places,
I like everything
Which lidar tech group used to make these discoveries. There are at least 6 lidar companies, and merging companies, that produce lidar tech. Your response is appreciated.
Camdobia🇰🇭🥀
light, eemaging, detection and ranging
Tikal because I climbed those when I was a kid and I will never forget because it was scary because it was so steep, I remember not wanting to fall backwards bit mom kept climbing so I had to follow.
Incredible. I had a similar experience in Angkor wat. It's pretty scary going up, but coming down is even scarier!
LIDAR is going to revolutionize gaming.
Li, comes from light. Dar comes from Radar. Combined it is LI, as it is pronounced in LIght, and Dar, as it is pronounced in Radar...so it is "LieDar. The I is prounounced as an I.
Yep absolutely right, the narrator doesn't know anything.. she keeps repeating it "LeeDar" wtf
Thank you. Couldn't even finish the vid. What planet is this chick living on to mispronounce it.
Could be her accent.
I read this in chubby emu voice
Yes you are right..found her so annoying😣..it is pronounced Ly dar not Lee dar..spoilt the very interesting veedio 😩🙃..sorry I meant video.
luv the mosic
All those images come from Weyland Industries Satellite PS-12.
I actually like the music.
What program do you work with and is there a subscription?
I don't personally do this work, I just make videos about it. This is a pretty cool site you can use though to browse around. equatorstudios.com/lidar-viewer
@@CryptoAnthropologist
Thank you for this site
For how spectacular are lost civilizations fans, l would build them up all over again, as ... Sci Fi movie sets for new touristic atractions, yeah, what are we doing here if not dreaming so high we could create new jobs & welfare & cultural happenings? Awesome inspirations fans
JOE ROGAN PODCAST BROUGHT ME HERE
Really? Which one?
@@CryptoAnthropologist czcams.com/video/Rxmw9eizOAo/video.html
Thank you!
His podcast with Graham Hancock brought me here...fascinating discoveries
@@CryptoAnthropologist It's pronounced as Lie-dar, please educate yourself!
Interesting subject and good script. A better microphone would definitively have a great impact on the quality of the video and the music was a bit load. But interesting !
Thanks for the feedback. I just recorded this on my cellphone, and as you can see I don't have much experience in video editing! I hope to make them much better quality in the future.
Where can I find that song in the background of the video?
Here you go :)

Wounding if this would help me find my dam tape measure
The guy from Velodyne, David Hall, invented 3-D LIDAR.
Looks like a bunch of buried boats, in the Denmark 2nd site mentiones
200 years of jungle growth and all of it just vanishes.
LIGHT DETECTION AND RANGING
knew about all these lidar discoveries. why dont they go to venezuela to map the three piramides next to Uribante?
😶 Genuine Question: How would have photogrammetry stacked up against LIDAR here?
LIDAR uses laser beams, and calculates the time it takes to return to create 3D imaging. If I'm not mistaken, photogrammetry generates 2d or 3d images based on photography. So basically, LiDAR uses light to make measurements, whereas photogrammetry uses captured images, that can be processed and combined to enable measurements.
They need to do around the Egyptian pyramids
500th sub ;-)
Most interesting to me was the expansive Msyan civilization.
LIDAR THE ENTIRE SAHARA DESERT N BOTH ICE CAP POLES. I THINK IT MAY CHANGE OUR HISTORY N FUTURE
This video is all over the place
2:45 Harold Bluetooth Cormsin??
Gormsen, son of gorm the old and wife Thyra.
If the first part of LIDAR is from the word light then its pronounced LIE-DAR.
Pity.for the disturbing music. There is no music in the jungle.. skip it.
Хммм...где купить такую штуку?)
@ 5.21 looks like a processor on a motherboard
But what was actually found?!
leedar?
I think there is massive structures under the Sahara and Antarctica
theres seems a strange reluctance for any modern researcher to begin investigations into the ethnic origins of all those ancient stone/earth structures with accompanying stonewalls in new england and eastern canada..... surely this Lidar technology would reveal a few clues................
Are they going to send expeditions?
To which place?
Wow . Can you please help me, I am looking for an old graveyard in a densely forested area can you tell me if LiDAR could help me find it please
Technically, the use of lidar would definitely help. But not sure where you would get your hands on that level of tech
Crypto-Anthropologist thank you for your reply.
Sorry late reply.. ;)
Thith ith veery awethome!
Lidar Antarctica please :O want to know what's under the ice
Ooh, I agree with that!
Enjoyed the video very much,
but PLEASE rethink the music.
It was very distracting.
You're right :) I've decided on no music in my later videos.
Subbed.
Ok but imagine this on other planets to help look for life
genius
can this be done over the oceans? Can't till we confirm atlantis.
Yes, Lidar can be used to map subsurface topography.
Early tests of LiDAR in the sea included investigation of clams nearly 3 kilometers below the ocean surface in Monterey Canyon, demonstrating that the bathymetric lidar - using blue-green wavelengths to penetrate water - could resolve individual animals and the trails left by their movements.
