You are so keen and clever.
I listened to this MV hundreds of times but haven’t noticed Kaze fell when white guy was not with him. Kaze calls the white guy “higher self.”

Another point that I love about Nan Nan is that he sings with his Okayama dialect :)

Love your reactions to Kaze's music and lyrics :) Nan-Nan is actually a slang (meaning WTF, WHAT?!) used by Japanese Gen-Z on social media space. Kaze is so talented and clever in the way he incorporates this word. Out of all the YT reactions yours is the best, you just get him I think!

This is the very song that made me know Kaze approx. 3 years ago. This is an incredible fact that he chose this such a beautiful song but somehow controversial as his official debut single. I love Kaze from every aspect.

Many of his songs are spiritual. This song also seems to be a song about breaking up with a lover, but it is actually a song about the feelings of one's higher self. I interpret the person behind me to be my inner divine higher self, and the people around me to be my twin souls.

I think Fuji Kaze embraces his inner child and brushes away the despair we all feel sometimes. it looks to me as he is leading the other folks out of that dark place into the light embracing the day. Maybe not an external guardian angel but one within ourself that we can conjure up if we just try.❤ love Fuji since he seems to have resisted the norms and encourages a positive outlook on life❤

His lyrics often include the dialect of his hometown and everyday slang.
"Nan-nan" is a dialect of Okayama, and the "w" at the end is a slang word that sometimes means self-mocking.

    歌詞が素晴らしいです。最初はモノクロ映像ですが後半色がついていくところも見ものです。もちろん風さんもまた違う顔を見せてくれています!

That's also a pretty modern way of putting it. I remember that young people started using it probably about 15 years ago, mainly on the Internet.

You reallh do not want to be his hair. He does a lot of sh*t to it. He has a lot of it and it always looks good, make no mistake about that, but it takes a lot of punishment because he can't stick to one hairstyle or color for too long.
