So today marks the 10th anniversary of the Ghostbusters: The Video Game release date and also the 30th anniversary of Ghostbusters 2. So I decided to play some multiplayer for a while to celebrate today.

As far as I'm aware, the servers for the Xbox 360 version's multiplayer are still up, so it is still possible to get a game going

As far as I'm aware, the Xbox 360 version's servers are still up.

Were there special ghosts and proton abilities for online? It looks a lot different than the single player.

Yeah there was exclusive ghosts and a couple new abilities you could pick up in the multiplayer. A couple of the ghosts are even ones that were cut from the scrapped Parade level from the single player

Can you still find people online in 2019?

You can find a person or 2 usually each time you hit quick match but sometimes you might have to wait a good bit to find someone. The best time to play would probably be on the weekends.

Jax I don’t think the multiplayer is coming back to the remaster they’re saying it’s being built from the ground up

Unfortunately no. They never released a multiplayer mode for the PC version of the game. They only did for the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions. The PS3 servers were shut down so as of now, the Xbox 360 version is the only way to play online multiplayer.
