Music Camp/Festival in Banyoles (Catalonia), organized by Joventuts Musicals de Banyoles.
Ethno Catalonia is an International Summer Music Camp for young musicians, with a great passion for Traditional/Folk/World music. In just one week, participants from all over the world teach each other songs from their own cultures, building in site a common repertoire and working on the arrangements before a three day tour across Catalonia. Both the orchestra, the repertoire and the performances are unique and unrepeatable, as the members of the orchestra change in each edition.
Ethno Catalonia is part of a global family, Ethno World, currently present in 43 countries, created by Jeunesses Musicales International in 1990. Dialogue, tolerance and understanding are essential values not only within the Ethno World, but also in the relationship with local communities.

Happy to hear beautiful Bosnian Language and culture. Long live the BEST BROTHERS IN THE BALKANS. A Bosnian is a jewel of all Balkans. Greetings from Turkey
Many Turcizmi words. Beautiful meledioes and song. Bosna je majka moja!
Это было великолепно. Очень интересный проект. Не стерильная идеальность, как многое сейчас, а скорее жизнь, душевность. Со своими мелкими неточностями и может быть поэтому так ласков для слуха. Эна - выше всяких похвал!
It's great to get back and sing, should not be a missed occasion to feel better

Who is the person singing? I cannot find information on the performers anywhere.
Ena Hadžiomerović :)
@@enahadziomerovic6841 Thank you, Ena, for making such captivating music. I was moved to tears. And I do not even know the language.
Thanks for your comment! We've now added all the information in the video details!
@@EthnoCatalonia Thank you so much! I cannot tell you how much enjoyment I've gotten from these videos. I also purchased the high-res audio from ProStudioMasters. It's been in heavy rotation for the last few weeks.
@@brettahlstrom9259 thank you so much for listening! Fills my heart to reach out to people!
Can someone help an English speaker understand? I found this translation. Is it accurate?
"I am the only child of my mother
Hey, I am the only child of my mother
And she has
Only me
Hey, she would like to marry me
To a judge
From Livno
Hey, but I prefer
To get married to Alia
The bohemian"
Quite good - just the ending, to the bohemian who sings sevdah, a bosnian traditional form of singing.
@@enahadziomerovic6841 Thank you, Ena. I've really been enjoying this video and all the videos from that day.
@@KamaTanha thank you guys, for the support ♡
Bil,bil,bil…
Bul,bul,bul…
Sounds lile Turkish like Sevliju word in the lyrics. “Bil,bil, bil…” = know it welll and “bul, bul, bul… “ = find it
güzel bir proje ama bulut gelir başka bir şey....
This is somewhat simplified harmony that does not contribute to the beauty of this song.
You do realize this was a group of 30 strangers who had a week to put this whole show together. And I think it's the most beautiful song I've heard in years. No lie. I'm responsible for at least two dozen views.
