- Hello everyone and welcome back to The Beatles Forever. Today we are continuing to learn more about John Lennon through the book Nowhere Man. This episode will show John's likes and dislikes, his trip to Japan, and his friendship with Peter Boyle and his wife.

It's so crazy how depression made John feel about himself, he was John Lennon feeling jelous and resentful of Paul Simon, Paul was great but he was JOHN LENNON. I can understand tho, when you are depressed envy is a very common thing, you can't stop thinking how everyone is probably enjoying life while you are in pain.

Another great video!!! Very informative. I remember reading the book, Nowhere Man many years ago. For some reason, i took from it, a much more optimistic sense of John in his last years: Living comfortably in the Dakota as a House Husband baking bread and raising Sean but i guess subconsciously I must have blocked out all of the petty, materialistic, insecure, jealous parts of John and Yoko's life at that time. I feel that just like many people, we tend to idolize the Beatles and in our minds, their lives are seen through the prism and perspectives of rose colored, Windsor glasses.

I wish Yoko had let Paul talk to John more. They enjoyed each other's company.

I had a fog called Fen whod been picked up as a stray in Ireland. His rescue name was Lemon. I knew the guy who adopted him from dog walking and he liked the name because it made people smile but he called him Lennon on the low because his other dog was called Dylan ✌️
When he came here i changed his name to Fen from Fenris the Mythical Wolf

John was so right in knowing that having a lot of money didn't guarantee happiness. I, like John, had enough money to go on spending sprees, but when I did go on a spending spree, it didn't produce any lasting happiness. John Lennon discovered the same thing when he would spend a lot of money.

Yoko fired him when he failed to see what would happen to John . He wrote a book called Dakota Days. He remained a tarot card reader, astrologer and writer till he died.

John’s father never deserted him. He was a merchant marine, who was gone many times. It was his mother who committed adultery, and had a child out of wedlock, which created the rift in the marriage
She did that when his father left them. So yes his father left him and came around and John took care of him but his dad was mooching off of John
If you loved John Lennon, I guess it's best to NOT read that book. It doesn't paint a very flattering picture of him.

I think Yoko Ono was an unalloyed disaster for John Lennon. She played on his insecurities, severed him from his mates and other musicians, got him into heroin, and involved him in the occult, which I do not regard as a harmless eccentricity.
Yes, The Beatles had to end eventually, but I think that in most ways, Lennon's life ended in 1968. As crazy as Lennon may have been during his lost weekend, he was with friends, at least, people who cared about him for his own sake.
I believe that May Pang is telling the truth when she says that she and Lennon were going to get a place together in New York, but then, Lennon went back to Ono, supposedly for anti smoking hypnosis. We know from the September, 1969 tape which was discovered a few years ago that Lennon had no intention of leaving The Beatles. Then, the band took a three week break, and when they got together again, John said to Paul, "I want a divorce."
Yoko Ono, a practicing witch. A complete catastrophe for John Lennon.
Funny enough Peter kinda looked like his dad, of course a "better dad" version than his real dad, and of course Yoko was "mother", Yoko was a total crazy person, she was schizophrenic, paranoid schizophrenic to be more exact, she had a real big issue with her mom, i think she was a lesbian and her mother didn´t accept that., her mother didn´t accept anything she did and that affected her, she was in mental hospitals several times, and was a heavy drug addict and lived a chaotic life, no wonder she was in magic that is a very psychotic thing to do, Lennon connected his bitterness with her paranoid views so both of them ended up with paranoid delusions of people, of course there were lots of shitty peple around them, mostly because they related with shitty people anyways, but still they were a paranoid couple, folie a deux as the frech says

John had a BORDERLINE personality disorder., and also he was cyclotimic, and also a drug addict of course, his life was a roller coaster, plus he was a very resentful guy, borderline people feel anger with more intense than normal people and if you add resentment and hate in his life well you got a time bomb, also in his case, the omnipotence of fame didn´t help, he got too big and had too much drugs for such unstable person with such terrible life story, i think it would have been hard for John to get to 50 or maybe he could have done it but he would have died in the 90s anyways he wanted to suicide at the end of the 70s, he was a depressed junkie, is sad but that´s art for you, real art comes from dark people
I always liked his music but lost respect for him for the way he abandoned his family. Peter Brown who John asked to handle the divorce wrote in his book about how cruel and cheap John was to her especially cruel after Cynthia came home to find Yoko wearing Cynthia's bathrobe and instead of being at all apologetic Lennon started an ugly scene. Interesting how Chapman picked up on what phony's they were just as the Card reader and a psychic from Little Italy told John he saw him sleeping in a pool of blood but they ignored the warning signs. Karma may not be instant but it never loses an address. When he died the Beatles and their inner circle probably all thought if only John hadn't abandoned his family he'd still be alive.

He was growing up. Sadly, Yoko has marketed him on being, the naive, "Imagine" version when he passed. He wasn't, not even close. People were calling him a sellout at the time of his death.

If you want to make a video that tells the truth about John’s last days, I ask that you please read the book titled John Lennon 1980 the last days in the life by Kenneth Womack or that you listen to John‘s last interviews and you will hear how happy he was
John was not only a beautiful person, but he was also a very honest man so if he would have been unhappy, he would’ve said it himself so please have some respect for John and Yoko, and stop giving publicity to these book written by liars who just wanted to make money by saying lies about them
