- This milwaukee mag drill came in not running. The sending was willing to put a motor into it, so parts where ordered.
meantime the real owners seen the drill on my tiktok channell and contacted me with proof tobsjow it was theirs.
Turns out the original sander worked at a dump and found the drill. and had no problem with it going bach to the original owner.
All well that ends well. the original owner so wanted the drill fixed and paid to have it fixed right.

She’s seen better days. Man. Such an expensive piece of equipment. Used one at work, it was fantastic. Killed old 5ah batteries per each 1 1/8” cut through 2” at 450 plate. Went to use the same drill 6 months later at a different location, took her out of the case and parts of the dovetail were missing so the head was loose and couldn’t be raised properly also it had no power. Assume the motor was burnt out. I was sad for the tool, for whatever happened to it since the last time I used it. I have a corded Milwaukee mag drill now I keep in my area, take care of it myself and it gets the job done for me whenever I ask it to
She was spendy when new. Glad the original owner got there gear back because people who steal a working mans tools are just the worst.
The one piece of kit i would buy corded.

my brother in law works with the council and gets loads from the dump, problem is he is gathering up junk and day dreaming, but he has fixed, petrol chainsaws, petrol washer and some other good stuff, but takes crud too.
Any idea why the magnet engagement knob is very hard to turn? When it turn it counter clockwise it makes a lot of clicking noises. Almost like a rachet.
Every other video i have seen the knob is turned very easily. I almost have to grab it with both hands to get it to turn. I sent it to milwaukee to fix that. I got it back today and its about the same
Wow crazy so this motor burnt up likely due to it moving in its housing too much, would this be a build quality

On thousand from Home Depot in the US, you guys probably paid twice as much. Someone in your government probably pocket the difference.
@@austinbruder9187 insane price to pay for a Milwaukee Cordless Tool. Would much rather invest in a corded Makita which would be less than 1000€. Or a Fein core drill, corded or cordless their tools last a lifetime and they are the finest metalworking tools you can buy.
They use Bosch AmpShare aswell so standard 18V Bosch batteries fir their tools, very handy since Bosch doesnt make bad tools either.
Id say the Bosch AmpSahre battery alliance has been their greatest idea in the past 10 years.
Bosch , Fein and Rothenberger were the founders of the program actually.

yea its a milwaukee so it is a common problem.. they are a good machine and very useful but they dont last very long at all. very expensive to buy and keep repairing. the company this was returned to, said them selfs, they bought several of them for fitters. every single one has had this problem. motors have failed on every single machine several times.

Lol why people buy this overpriced crap instead of lets say a Fein mag drill that will last for ever. And why a mag drill has to be cordless in the first place?
The last question is kind of silly, but Fein does make a better cordless drill and it costs less.
