Leave the ECHR and make a law that says if you come here illegally without papers you will automatically have no right to remain. Then there needs to be a deterrent that demonstrates what that means - long periods in detention until a country of return can be found. But Labour won't do that. Imo and many other people are saying the same, Labour won't make 5 years in govt or even more. They'll make it 2 years max before another GE is called. Farage knows how things are going to go, so do many of us. Labour are not popular. Starmer is not popular. 80% of people who bothered to vote, didn't even vote for Labour. They got in because of the first past the post system.
Tories were useless but Labour are far worse! We know to expect nothing positive from them. Things in the country are going to get worse! And by Christmas this year, we'll see very angry citizens. By next summer or Christmas 2025 they'll likely be mass protests against Labour and revolts from irate citizens. Labour are also not united as a party. They'll crumble from within fast. People are still angry because of Tory rule and as the majority of voters didn't want Labour any way, they'll be no patience from citizens.
They are also not going to cope against the changing world with ongoing conflicts and potential conflicts. Starmer is not a man he's a mouse! He will fail at every hurdle. By 2026 citizens will be so angry and fed up and they'll likely be chaos in the country, that Labour will be forced to step down and call another election. Like I said, they won't last 2 years. Reform UK know what's brewing. So do many citizens. Labour's honeymoon period will be short and this is their last hurrah as a party. And Farage will be chipping away at them. He got Tories out of the way, Labour are next. They are doomed to fail. I'm sure Starmer knows this or he thinks those of us(the majority) who didn't vote for Labour, are daft and will 'warm to Labour'. No chance!
