Preparing your Garden for Spring with Mary Holmes

Spring is almost here, the weather is mild and there are lots of small jobs to be done in the garden. Gardener Mary Holmes guides you around her own garden and gives some handy tips to inspire you to get moving. The Library has a great choice of gardening books too to help you get started.
In this video, Mary show us tress and shrubs that have year long interest, as well as plants that are in flower at the moment and during winter. Mary also demonstrates some jobs that can be done at this time of year in order to make way for the change of seasons, and shows us how to prepare for growing vegetables in the coming months.
