You just saved me! Thank you!
You have saved me $200 I was about to buy the hd60s+ now I can wait!!! You've earned a new subscriber!!!
Worked with my hd60 pro as well. Thank you!
Thank you! I was able to setup my HD60 Pro today.
Awesome! I'm just so happy this video is actually helping people. Hopefully saving them from the headache I got trying to get everything set up!
youre so awesome!! Thank you for this video! I just got a Wave microphone and have a SUPER old Elgato Capture Card (Game Capture HD) and could not find a way to get it to work. Thank you!:D
I'm both amazed and thrilled that this is still helping people. I hope you enjoy the Wave mic! I know the clipguard at least, for me, has been a HUGE blessing. I'm sure my viewers are grateful at least! 🤣
You're an absolute legend! As for the problem about volume of alerts n stuff: If you put your alerts via streamlabs.com or streamelements and have the alerts as a browser source, rather than the SLOBS widget, you can control audio via obs (slobs), then then in the audio settings of SLOBS, put that audio through wave link. (If you type in streamlabs alerts and wave link, you'll get the tutorial on Elgato's website). Therefore you can still have your alerts and slobs stuff loud, but your game quiet etc.
thank you
I'm so glad that this is helping people, you have no idea! And yeah, this is more or less how I have this working when streaming from console now, though i use straight obs now instead of slobs! I also just adjust the volume in stream elements, usually as well, unless i need some fine tuning.
thankkkssssss
Wait has this been resolve as this video was posted 2 months ago
To my knowledge, this and my follow up are the only way to get this to work currently. I have tried contacting Elgato, and they couldn't even come up with this solution, their solution was to either run with a single PC setup, or run everything through my gaming PC (Meaning I wouldn't hear ANY audio or alerts from my streaming PC, along with other issues), which is not a reasonable solution for many streamers or content creators.
The issue lies in that their wavelink software cannot use any "camera" or imaging device that doesn't use UVC as a hardware sound source, which includes the HD60S. They do NOT make this public knowledge, and I had to really dig in with their support team to get this answer.
Huh only 34 subs and you pulled 297 views nice job
At the time I made this video, I couldn't find ANY information about how to set up wavelink on the stream PC of a 2 PC setup using a non-UVC capture card. Was just trying to help some people out. I'm glad it seems to have done that!
@@cdnKrimsonkitty it's funny I was searching for the console way to set it up but I figured it out on my own.
@@cdnKrimsonkitty I'm just happy I can finally record with better audio lol
@@SaviorLight I do stream with console as well. So I have an HDMI switch that sends either xbox360, PS4 or PC signal to the HD60S. Which is why I can't just route all my audio through the gaming PC all the time (which was Elgato's solution)
Me and my mod spent a good week researching and trying to figure out the best way to set it all up. But I'm thrilled with the mic. The clipguard is something I so desperately needed!
I play on PS4 with the Astro A40’s headset with Mix Amp with a. Elgato capture card..... my game audio is blasting and all my listeners here is loud crackling noise.
Sorry, I'm not familiar with that brand or setup at all. Might need to try contacting their support?
if you are on OBS or SLOBS use the desktop audio output WaveOut will remove clicking noise
Great video thx but I need help with adding party chat Plz.
This tutorial is just to use the wavelink on the stream PC when using the HD60S and a multi system setup, but I can try to help. I need more information first. Do you use a single PC or two for your streaming? What program are you using when you say "party chat"? Are you looking to include or exclude this from the stream, and monitor?
@@cdnKrimsonkitty I use a single PC and I want to stream on my Ps4 using the Wavelink and Elgato. The "Party Chat" program I'm talking about is ps4 regular party chat you can make with friends. And I'm looking to include it on my stream. I also have the Elgato chat link if that is necessary.
can i download Wave link without elgato product?
Unfortunately no. It's not something that is licensed with elgato, it is apparently built into the microphone itself, and so doesn't even work without it. Voicemeetr banana is a popular free digital mixer that i use on my gaming computer, but i know there are others as well.
OMG i've been trying to record my voice for the longest its almost july 2021 AND IT STILL DOESNT WORK, but ill try this and edit my comment rather this method worked for me or not.
Depending on what your issue is, this may or may not solve the problem. This is more for how to even use wavelink specifically with a non-compatible capture card. That said, i don't mind trying to help, but I need a little more info about your setup.
@@cdnKrimsonkitty I have elgato hd60s and wave 1 mic and an I core 5 windows with all the correlating software but I can't capture OR record my voice and elgato just doent help
@@supersimmygod9433 which capture software are you using, and what system are you trying to capture? Is it a 2 pc setup? Or console/pc? What do you see when you try to record?
@@supersimmygod9433 if you check out my twitch page, you'll see a link to my discord. If you join there would probably be a bit easier to help, and my tech team could throw in advice as well.
Is it only the mic that won't be captured? If so, I'd need to see screenshots of your wavelink window, and sound mixer in your streaming software window - which would be easiest to do in the discord.
someone has latency when the sound is on wave link ? Thanks for your video 👍👍✅
@@cdnKrimsonkitty besides I have some problems with my elgato chat link you would have a video to advise me?
@@mugi9227 I unfortunately don't use the elgato Chat Link. I just have all of my audio going through the stream PC. I'm unfortunately not entirely sure how the chat link works.
As I stream from multiple systems, I simply output all of my audio through the stream PC, so that it can be controlled by Wavelink. If I'm talking to people while playing, we do it through discord, run on the streaming PC. This allows me to also have it as a separate channel in Wavelink, allowing me to mute them or adjust the volume so that they aren't overpowering to the stream.
i tried this its not working... i dont have obsexe even tho i use stream labs
It should work with slobs as well. Sometimes you need to restart your streaming software to get it to work properly. Which part isn't working? Have you checked out my follow up tutorial?
@@cdnKrimsonkitty no where is your follow up video ?? i dont see on your channel
@@cdnKrimsonkitty i have two obs things in system settings one is " streamlabs" the other is "obs64" i tried both and i get no game sound through either
Here is the follow up czcams.com/video/b4OvBixVtz8/video.html
I used the obs64 process. Have you tried restarting slobs and wavelink? I found a really annoying problem where sometimes I had to restart in order to get either the sound to transfer to wavelink, or to make sure everything coming through the headset isn't audible in the streaming software.
A few things to look for, is can you see the volume bar registering the sound in wavelink, you just can't hear it through the headset?
@@cdnKrimsonkitty yes i tried restarting doesnt seem to be working either ... i cannot see the sound registering in wave link nor can i hear the sound .. so annoying ahah thanks for your help
Thank You So Much! Needed This issue solved today and I ran across your video. Subscribed! Keep up the Work.
So glad I could help!
