I think it has something to do with the camo after firing. Bigger gun bigger noise and flash reduce camo % more .

They literally just nerfed the Mino and then bring this out? This is basically a faster Mino with more DPM, what are thinking? It surely has to get nerfed on release. Cupola is completely hidden with the gun depression, you can push the DPM to nearly 5k at close range and it can move around like close to a medium, certainly fast heavy sort of speeds with a turbo. It's like a combo of the best bits of a Badger, Mino and pre-nerf Bobject. The overall mechanic is fine, more damage/DPM at close range, don't have much issue with that as most TDs camp too much, but why for example does it have decent accuracy when it is not supposed to snipe and why does it need so much speed if it is armoured, at least make it E3 slow, with a bad reverse speed so it can just peek and pull back easily. I don't think the tight gun arc and relatively meh premium pen balance it enough at all, this will likely be one of the strongest tier 10 tanks on release, what is with them releasing too powerful TDs at the moment? We had Mino dominating, Ho-Ris is far too strong as well and now this. Yet medium players get crappy Concept 5 or we get the crappy Type 71, but apparently all the TD bobs need a high alpha, high DPM, good armour, fast noob machine?
They add new super tank, everibody will grind it and then they make shit from it.
When they put mino they nerfed kran so this is normal , when next coming heavy armored op tank they gone nerf this aswell :)
Another mino crybaby. It got buffed, gun wise, btw. The hatch is still 350-380 when the mino is hull down, but you believe it is nerfed. Good, at least there will be less Minos in pubs
@@shark_de_mique lol no it hasn't got buffed 'gun wise', aside a slight increase in traverse rate its been nerfed. The 'gun buff' you claim is not a buff, they have changed moving bloom onto traverse bloom, which actually worse, because it means the gun blooms more moving on the spot outside the gun arc (which is more relevant in a limited arc turretless TD) so bloom overall is just as bad if not worse. Also the right hand cupola is 300 effective even ifs using its gun depression, it is currently over 400 effective, so the reality is it can more reliably penned on the flat in city maps if you can't see the lower plate and it can still be more reliably penned fully hull down, whereas currently even JpE100 HEAT can barely trouble it, now most 330-340 premium rounds will pen it even on a ridge line so that is better than just being idiot proof invincible. The right hand cupola is 295 effective to AP and APCR even at full gun depression so any tier 10 gun with premium ammo will pen that reliably. Also anyone that thinks the Mino is not OP and is good for the game is a complete idiot.
@@tajj7 the bloom buff will be noticable,it now has stats of object 260, with even better bloom during the turret traverse. As for the hatches I don't wanna argue, because you are on the right side thinking that mino is a cancer, but even if it will become 250 effective with an accuracy mechanic of this game you will have 50/50 chance to pen at best. With current "nerfs" it will be something like 20% pen chance on average

I think it would be better and in line with actual if the gun comes with a mechanic that allows it to be more acurrate at range but less damage (or making it has higher chance to deal critical damage to modules or crews), and in close range, the gun becomes less acurate but deal more damage.

The kill cam can be the most interesting part of upcoming updates imo.
The gun sound when playing is one thing, but it also shouldn't sound like a hit from a 907 when you get hit by it and lose like 2 or 3 times the hp xD
Going thru tanks gg and played around with the equipments, this Spartan TD can traverse quickly at 42. The Equipments are Bonds Rotation, Experimental turbo and optics/survival suite I wonder if this spartan td can turn quickly like how su12244 can lol hehe Wish you could demonstrate it Youxin 😅 still grinding its line at tier 5 long way to go ii
i love the new mechanics, free roam after death and those killing shot stats are insane
also 2000 m/s= 7200 km/h, those bullets are INSANELY fast, they could circle the whole globe in about 2 hours
2000 shell velocility is definetly something. If I were honest the tank is looking actually good but what annoys me is the sound fire of the gun, just like you said It's "cheap".
The mobility for me is decent and the gun accuracy can be helped with Improved Aiming. The armour is good, unless someone loads the gold.
when i first saw the base stats for it's armor layout i thought it's gonna be completely useless at brawling, i guess it turns out i was wrong

This sound is probably because of its mechanic. Deep-Rifled gun is such a weird thing, you have 175mm gun, but 85mm shells
The aspect that took some getting used to is the fact that the gun is only seen as an 85mm... So I did not overmach most weaker targets vs what I was used to in a tier X TD.
This new tech-tree is stupid. Its so much OP. Think about the the reason why WT-E100 was taken out of the game and grille 15 was nerved.
The new camerafunctions are very good vor leraning, to understand your mistakes. Its also good for coaching, you said it before. But it is also the best stuff to rigg the game.
It would be a nice gimmik, if the hitindicator will be implemented into the replays, for better learning.

feels like a polish badger without the good reload but its still insane,gun seems nice,the prem pen for a td is low but thats expected for the dmg output this tank has and its armor is really good when in ridgeline its going to be good but i dont think gamebreaking
Those premium shells travel 10x faster than the solar system does around the galaxy. Polish engineering is unparalleled
I think this thing is gonna be nasty in clan wars. Imagine a full team of these rushing around with 5k dpm just evaporating whatever they come across.
I can't get over the fact that the gun sounds like it has 240 alpha.
Btw, good job,Wargaming! I'm glad they're working to balance hulldown meta by adding even more hulldown tanks. That's the direction the game should go.

What equipment should you put on it?
The kill cam is fine but battle hits should be added to wot by default, we need to see all shells of previous 3 battles

Btw, I feel like T-54D has been talked down too much for what it is. People are nagging on the gun depression but if that thing had gun depression it'd be downright op. It's got everything else. Accurate gun albeit slow to aim, decent dpm for a tier 9, incredible armor (currently at 1.16 armor efficiency where I am at 1.06 with comparably the 752k) and decent speed with preferably an experimental turbo. It's a tier 9 430U with arguably better armor, especially tier for tier. And it's pretty arty proof from the front as well, apart from stuns obviously.

I really think (if it comes out like this) that this tank will be as game breaking as the 268/4 was. Just hoping that it won’t take 8 months to nerf it
They should redo the damage fall-off mechanic or nerf something else about the tank. They should shave -100hp off alpha then do a reduction scale of 10m: 700hp, 20m:600hp, 50m: 500hp but increase distance damage to 100m-500m: 400hp. Or just not do the alpha nerf and follow this scale perhaps for the fall-off rate. They could instead nerf the speed to 30-35kph or reduce raw armor by 20-30mm on the front to make it more penable. I think this is the only way they can introduce this tank into the game without breaking the MM.

I think the gun sound is a pro gameplay wise. It doesn't sound like a big caliber for you, but neither does it to the enemy. Way harder to tell you've fired as compared to a 150mm+

The actual caliber of that gun is 160mm, I think it's just a bug that the gun sounds like this
It's actually an 85mm gun. It ricochets off 30mm plates. The "flanges" are 175mm, that's why the designation of the gun is "GG-85/175 mm".
I kinda agree with the gun sound is too bad for that big alpha and yeah could had been something like a unique gun sound but muffled or like those of silencers. Or GO LOUD like the Double Barrels that sounds like pure THUNDER when ya salvo shots that's what in my imagination is like when I saw the unique gun barrel of NC 70 haha
I think this tank is going to increase the amount of turbo games. Since it's meta lots of people are going to be playing it and since its DPM is so high if one team has grille and another has this grille probably will be sniping from the back and this tank is an extra heavy. How do you counter this tank? With a light and at long range so it hits for less damage. I'm not sure about this one for the game health boys.
Lower dpm/increased falloff speed, slightly lower accuracy, slightly reduce the armor. Hoping something like this happens before its introduced.

One of the biggest problems is they setup the armor for normal ammo, when almost everyone just spams premium ammo these days. It is like the super heavies, and just shooting through the turret like its a hot knife through butter.
if they set up Armor for Premium ammo, whats the point of Standard ammo then..? Then you need super Premium ammo.

Playing it in onslaught mode. Had maybe ten battles random que...terrible gun arc...horrible ...so so bad...like all the line...yet i love it....yikes the amount of shots not currently going in is insane...if i can master the aim...looking easy 3500-4500 a battle...turns slow so currently fooling around with equipment but feel hardening a must as even fully field mods only 350 track hp...with almost 580...love bonds hard..ram and turbo when i want to run with the meds...the ground resistance is super low...but thing turns like a boat...so rotation okay as well. Do I like it? Just bought 400 rations for it haha
I wonder whether they will allow a the free camera in the tournaments if they roll it out. I think it will be OP

Yeah the SOUNDS in this game.... I always feel the sounds are terribly bad. When you get hit by a big gun, its the same sounds as tier 2. And its "TCHING" like throwing a tin can into the rubbish.

It's got APCR mechanics I guess. Judging by its shell, it might lose quite a lot of pen over long distances, added with the fact that it can't use its high damage at long ranges.
