Carl’s not nearly as innocent in anything he just plays to the camera better. Lyndsey is crazy but she’s at least up front
Yes it was a set up but Carl is a lousy actor. I think the scene with the parents was set up to get out the wedding.
Im just sad that no one felt Carl was this way until about now , I saw it right at the start 🤦🏼♀️ just what did she ever see in him ( and she is tough on her self but she wants love and he just trashed her )

Carl calling production to end things with Lindsay says a lot about what kind of person he is... spineless.
Lindsay is an easy target, so I'm happy that someone acknowledges his role in the breakup. And I agree, a man stating that his mother is his best friend and that he tells her everything is a red flag. A momma's boy, no thanks. Kyle and Amanda are worse than Carl and Lindsay because they actually got married. Smh.
The defining moment where I saw Carl as he is was when he said he is the best Paige could ever get to lash out for her not sleeping with him. This is in spite of the fact that he acted like she didn't exist outside the summer house context. Now seeing how Kyle blamed Lindsay for Carl's lack of ambition and then again for not supporting him despite his lack of ambition, I could totally see how they manipulate how things appear. Lindsay is not my favourite, but Carl is not innocent in all of this.
Carl's stepdad brought up the Memorial Day fight, not Carl. Carl had to explain it in a confessional and i thought he remained pretty vague with details.
we seen this girl get drunk and argue w/ him constantly called him c*caine Carl and be dismissive towards his feelings when he tries to talk to her but yall want to crucify him for having a convo with his parents? lol its ridiculous when we've seen Lindsay share intimate details about their relationship to the house, but he can't have a moment where he tries to talk his thoughts out w/ his parents let's bffr the best thing that he did for them was call off their wedding being in la la land forever wouldn't benefit anyone regardless of how much Lindsay was willing to put up with it
Lindsay has bashed Carl all season “sex life a 2.5”… what person would want to marry someone who is bringing them down. The guy has his demons but Lindsay’s getting away with awful behaviour this season. It’s mind blowing to me.
@paigiepie07 exactly! U can see he's battling himself with this cause on one hand he does love her they were best friends but it's a big eye opener when u think about how long forever is and realize how activated she gets no matter who u are. In 7 years we have never seen any growth in who Lindsay is but Carl has changed drastically and while he's not perfect nobody is u can see the efforts he made in trying to be a better version of himself he's tried to take accountability listen to her feelings about things while she has not apologized to him once so far this season even after accusing him of being on drugs
It is so strange to me that people think Carl is the problem. I feel for Lindsay's background but she really has A LOT of work to do so that she treats her partners better. Carl has kept things on the DL since the break up...not Lindsy.
@@paigiepie07 That was not a bashing..the girls were talking about how often they had sex and they thought that Carl not having sex was on the outrageous side. No one was bashing.

I love Lindsay and I actually sided with Carl in the very beginning of the season, as I'm also alcohol-free for 10 years and thought she shouldn't accuse him of using while being drunk in his face. But after the last couple of episodes?? Girl dodged a bullet and I'm firmly on Lindsay's side in this. Good luck Carl, I hope he can find his way.
I think he needs to be in rehab not a show where the booze is flowing on weekends all the time cause they do summer and winter house. But there was talk of not just alcohol but it was termed several time substance abuse meaning others also. I think Lindsey knew more than she would ever let on about him and I also think they like Paige and Craig where looking for ways to get out of there relationships fairly amicably to not lose fans.
I agree with your take. I don’t like Lindsay and she has treated him badly (she seems to treat her partners badly period). It seems like drinking alters her personality a lot and he did describe her as drunk a lot. However I think she is a person who views toxic relationships as normal and did love him. I think Carl has started to come off to me as very aware of their toxicity and like he already decided to break up with her long before. To me it looks like he’s trying to plant evidence in front of a camera to prove why he’s in the right to break up with her. Like there’s conversations he didn’t actually need to have in front of cameras. I don’t think anyone deserves that. It made me feel sad looking at Lindsay be so excited for her wedding while he’s over here planning to break it off close to the date to serve himself.

Don’t agree at all. Lindsay never created a safe space for him to be honest & authentic. He’s not manipulative. He is simply trying to do what he has to do survive.
Omg before I even know what your saying I’ve been thinking Carl’s is acting sad and act in a narcissistic way ( can’t diagnose anyone but to me he is acting in a narcissistic way ) I have rewatched all the episodes, he such assh… and I can say Lindsey is my least favourite on perhaps all of bravo, but Carl did her dirty on this one and he act so strange , I saw it on episode 2 when everyone trashed Lindsey , but I think I can see a shit head from a mile away , I’m always right ( of course you can likeand dislike whoever you want but I can still see when someone is fake or act or trying to hard to trash someone else ) I’ve never ben wrong EVER , felt he was so fake , just watch episode when he sitting in the dark looking sad all alone and also complain all the damm time PLANTING SEADS ………

Lindsay is definitely a problem. The issue I have is that Carl was fully aware of all of Lindsay’s issues and also her desire to get married and have kids quickly (she’s been open about her timeline on that for years) yet still proposed to her and wasted her time. None of her issues are new - look at the first time they tried to date and how miserably that failed.
@@BrittanyMoloney I think a lot of their issues stems from Lindsay’s drinking which is a new dynamic in their relationship…him being sober and her drinking. Overall, they aren’t meant to be together and I don’t think anyone was completely wrong or innocent…I think Lindsay PR campaign afterwards saying she was blindsided was total BS

Yall' stay defending Lindsay. I am not a Carl fan, and he is far from innocent but the way you Lindsay fans ignore her red flags is CRAZY. Lindsay was talking to her friends about their sex life on camera and her being manipulative and using his sobriety and past against him and gas lighting him on CAMERA for the public to see. Why can't Carl talk to his family about his relationship on camera. I understand Lindsay was on y'all's show so maybe y'all feel you need to kiss her ass because it's crazy no one on here can see that Carl and Lindsay are the problem they are both RED FLAGS. Nobody ever wants to call Lindsay out and that's why she is the way she is and takes no accountability and thinks she's always RIGHT. Lindsay always thinks she's right and you people enable her to be thinking she's right. She really thinks it was all Carl and not her. Who wants to be with someone you have to walk on eggs shells around who goes on the defense soon as you call her out on something but its ok for her to call everyone else out including her ex but as soon as Carl calls her out "Why are you yelling at me" or "Are you on something?" or "What are you on". Why criticize her only when it was Paige and Amanda who were the ones who brought that conversation up and how many times they had sex and were shocked to hear she only had sex every 2 or so weeks when they asked her and she did not express anything else and seemed satisfied with that but they were shocked with that and Amanda ran and told Kyle then when Kyle told the story to Carl he lied and said she was bashing him. Kyle always is troublemaker on the show. But Lindsey never bashed him about it.

And Lindsay lied as well when she was spinning her narrative about Carl rising his voice and telling the other housemates about Carl being back on drugs. But keep defending Lindsay when her and Carl were BOTH wrong in the relationship and should have nerve been together in the first place.
