As a boat mechanic I can vouch for that but the best kinda boat is one where you don’t own bc boats don’t run on “thanks” ass or gas nobody rides for free. But the best part of being a boat mechanic is if I gotta fix a fuel issue and that’s a guaranteed river test after repairing the problem and a minimum of 2hrs of running the motor at its highest point trying to make the boat fail and I don’t have to pay for the fuel it’s all on the customer
