The language is old Persian which is called Dari in Pakistan. The vocabulary of Dari and Farsi is extremely similar. And all the languages of Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan are indo aryan so in any case the vocabulary is similar
Muhammad Hamza Khan the vocabulary of dari and farsi is very different. i speak dari and its very hard for me to understand farsi. and no hindi and persian have only similarities in grammar but not vocabulary. the raped language "urdu" stole many persian words.
As a dari speaker you may not be able to understand farsi but they can understand you. And just so you know the purpose of the urdu language was to combine the many languages spoken and create one unified language. And my friend keep some control over the words you use

The language is old Persian which is called Dari in Pakistan. The vocabulary of Dari and Farsi is extremely similar.
And all the languages of Pakistan, Iran, and Afghanistan are indo aryan so in any case the vocabulary is similar

the vocabulary of dari and farsi is very different. i speak dari and its very hard for me to understand farsi. and no hindi and persian have only similarities in grammar but not vocabulary. the raped language "urdu" stole many persian words.
As a dari speaker you may not be able to understand farsi but they can understand you. And just so you know the purpose of the urdu language was to combine the many languages spoken and create one unified language.
