I think fights over ranking people into arbitrary Top X lists would be a great subject for Charlie's next movie.

I can't tell you how much I really appreciate these interviews. I get so much inspiration out of them. Yet, I also find myself relating to the techniques some of the writers talk about. It makes me feel...more sane, if I were to put it into words.

WOW. THIS IS THE BEST ONE FOR ME. DEEP, THOUGHTFUL, INSPIRING... SIMPLY CHARLIE KAUFMAN. I learnt a lot and got inspired to carry on, as I am battling writing a script for a short film school project.

He’s a true artist with all the ups and downs of what that means. And I love his candor about it. He’s as deeply frustrated by the systems around him as he is driven.

Amazing thoughts! This video is a pure MASTERPIECE. Thank you for sharing. I am an up-and-coming screenwriter. Recently I've finished my first-ever screenplay. Clips like this give me the motivation to pursue my passion even more - I'm in the process of writing my second screenplay! English is not my fluent language but that won't stop me from chasing and reaching my goals.

The last one for me is too relatable. 95-96% not writing because it's 100% in my head every day. My mind always tries new scenes or characters or old ones in new places. Eventually I write something just to try and not think about it. Anything worth keeping won't stop nudging me.

After a series of extracta from interviews containing nothing but humbleness. Next time you want to try and throw around meaningless snarky buzzwords because you can't be bothered with challenging works that are too good for you, you might want to come up with an original one, so that at least it's just dumb instead of dumb AND straight up illogical
