i loved these games so much, they're my most played pokemone games. the post game for me is so good that i don't consider beating the league as beating the game. beating the game is defeating your rival's upgraded team and catching mewtwo.
Pokemon Red and Yellow were my 1st games, and although I do "like" them in a nostalgic sense, I got Gold and Crystal shortly after when they were new, and to this day Crystal remains my favorite and most-played Pokémon game

Pokémon Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee did us dirty by not including post game content
Never played those games, but ya it could’ve definitely included the Sevii Islands
From what I understood, Let's Go Pikachu/Evee are intended to be more like tye original Red/Blue/Green than expanding on them (no national dex, no sevii, no breeding etc)
@@apocacristian The same thing happened with BDSP, but at least Lets Go has Mega Evolution and Alolan forms.
I completed the entire game with my all party pokemons having level between 48-50💀
The wild pokemons in the cerulean cave were even stronger than my party pokemons yet I defeated the game.

I actually got the TRI-PASS and went to the 3 islands before winning the league, i haven't even won it yet 😂
Yeah that’s normal tbh. You get an option to ether go to the 3 islands or finish to the league. They added the 3 islands early so you could level up ur team more before going to the elite 4 because in the OG game it was quite hard tbh. They added the other islands to put a lot of gen 2 Pokémon because there was no gen 2 for GBA so they added some to FR/LG & they had some added in Emerald. Now this started the trend of adding more to remakes like they did for HG & SS but now I believe they are going into doing remasters with slight changes & doing a legends type game so that way fans can play that generation game again but also they are putting out a whole new game & story around the Gen. I would say Gen 2 HG & SS was probably the last game / remake to actually stay in that style because it seems they wanna make remakes now almost the same as the original (BD & SP)
Left out the battle tower and probably the best part of the post game??? The elite four not only have higher level pokemon but also use pokemon from the national dex.

I did the post game on leafgreen and it was amazing but sucked at the same time!
