Khalil really has changed a lot of lives especially the life of the guy whos knee he stomped out 💀
🤣 Dude's a menace
Forgot to protect himself at all times
“Say goodbye to your kneecaps chucklehead”
Now the guy he put on a wheelchair will have to overcome adversity
man this move is nasty ! specially done by a guy like Khalil... fuck me i rather be head kicked than getting my kneecaps blown up by that move !
Young men are lost without a father. Nice to see that he found strength and purpose through martial arts.
His body kicks are terrifying. Some of the hardest hitting shots I've ever heard.
His kicks in general. Those tree truck legs generate scary power.
Definitely feel like Khalil's moment is still coming. Real potential. Love his Muay Thai style too!
I geeked out when he came out with the classic Thai stance against anders
@@timfilipiuk9612 That is the first fight of his I ever saw and I felt the same way. I was pretty new to watching MMA and that shit was awesome! I don't recall seeing that kind of style from him since that fight, but maybe I am misremembering. He is an awesome athlete and I hope he can put together a win streak so we can see more of him.
@@Recise it might’ve been an adjustment based on the matchup, given that Anders tends to load up his big overhands by leaning heavy on the front foot. Jacoby is his toughest test to date
Hes getting old its not happening
His Muay Thai is beautiful.
The way he attacks harder and harder the weaker his opponent becomes… scary fighter man. And what an awesome dude.
It's that stored fat from being 300lbs being utilized for energy. Literally a beast
This really is an admirable story of success, when you consider where he was as a teenager, and how he progressed so quickly in the sport. And if you consider these factors (determination, grit, perseverance, hard as nails performances, etc.), I feel that this guy has the potential to be in the top 5 of the LHW division. and maybe even challenge for the belt some day.
Not until he learns to grapple/wrestle!
@@adeosinowo3197 right! He only really likes to fight Muay Thai style which I like but I wanna see him as champ
@@Bvstianyeah if he would just get a least a good ground game then he wouldn’t have to worry about the td. I noticed that many don’t fight in muy thi style cause it just invites for take downs. The only other fight I can name with a muy thai stance is charles oliveira. He gets away with become his incredible ground game nobody wants to take him down.
I love Khalils unique choice of attacks, such as kicking an opponent in the ribs while he is in turtle guard. To be honest I have no idea why more fighters don't do it. It gives him the advantage of remaining on his feet, opposed to trying to secure the back, which can sometimes be trouble when someone is in turtle guard.
I've been thinking about your opinion on rib kicks to the opponents turtle guard.
Your absolutely right.
It brings back Pride FC energy to the octagon.
Most guys are scared to use the soccer kick cus one slight movement by the opponent and you kick a guy in the head and the fight is gonna be done.
Yeah I don’t know why more people don’t regurgitate the same comment more often too. Real original. You know exactly what I’m saying too
I think it’s cause a lot of guys have habits from wrestling/bjj, and forget you can actually strike from that position.
@@squadabingo7290 I mean I know what you're saying, but I have no idea wtf you are talking about 😆

Rampage tearing that door off caused Khalil to fall in love with sport even more 😂😂😂
Shout out to RAMPAGE ....
As someone who suffers a lot from depression Khalil story really touches me. Thank you for inspiring us young fighters
You are your own legacy. As a father I would be proud of the effort and courage, the success is a bonus
A true inspiration to anyone growing up feeling like it's not enough, much respect to Khalil. Keep it going ✊
Khalil is awesome. Love them body kicks on the ground
Khalil is a good dude. Can’t wait for his next fight
Very inspirational, thank you mr. Rountree 🙏🏾
Not inspirational enough to spell his name correctly apparently
i really wanna see khalil as a champion!!!!
His speech at the beginning gave me chills. The dude's words are as powerful as he is.
Cringe
@@shadyganley8877 Grow up. Holy shit, you internet guys are annoying.
@@shadyganley8877 you sound insecure with yourself
@@drake4642 he’s a weirdo replying to everyone’s comment. I honestly feel bad because Khalil would probably embrace this kid cause he’s obviously VERY sad
@@shadyganley8877 kissless virgin
Just made a grown man tear up. Khalil you're an inspiration
Dude is one of my favorites. Real chill guy. So happy to take a picture.
Khalil is a beast. Some of the best Muay Thai striking in the UFC
This guys Muay Thai is so crisp and technical. Really looking forward to the masterclass he’s about to put on Daukaus.
One of the best fighters in world. It is a honor to hear him talk!🌝👍🏾👍🏾
khalil has such an exciting style. stoked to see more of his work. Also I had no idea that he listened to metal and was a musician. very cool
I love Khalil, I always make sure to tune in to his fights. Such a beast.
Only fighter in UFC who regularly ultilizes soccer kicks to grounded opponents. Only guy that seems to remember that they're legal so long as they aren't to the head.
Khalil!!! Your father is proud of you! He watches you and smiles proudly seeing the man his boy has become. Everyone who knows your story would be proud of you. You are a beautiful human being. Much love and continued success. Let's Go!
Send him that Instagram, he's not gonna be here.
loved watching him on the ultimate fighter, I will always cheer for this dude!
That's a really inspiring story
i wish him and his family all the best
I was not expecting this dude to be such a sweetheart after seeing a couple of his fights
I love this guy!!! I never knew his story. America loves a comeback story that is for sure.
Wanna see this guy become a contender
Whatever he needs to do that somebody give it to him. The right camp or whatever.
We need champions like him
Especially with Glover and Charles being dethroned.
Guys that are actual great ambassadors for the sport
But apparently we can't have them
That needs to end
Charles is an utter brick with a "p". No one wants him as champion. Islam is an amazing person and a true honorable sportsman
@@pokemonovice9758 Who talks mad trash but okay
Name a single instance of Charles being a "prick"
@@MrWolfchamp-xi3cu When did he talk trsh???? It was Charles who said he was gonna knock Islam in the first round lol. Charles talks lots of trsh, and his passive-aggressive energy is lame as heck, while at least Islam is a real dude. Islam is not Khabib, Khabib is a reall dchbg and a trsh talker
@@pokemonovice9758 Pretty sure any instance of Charles talking trash, not that it's okay, was in response to Islam saying stuff like "He's a quitter" and "I'm ashamed the champion has 8 losses" or whatever he said to spur any type of response from Charles. It was probably the combination of Islam's and Khabib's talk that got to Charles. Charles ain't ever disrespectful. Not from what I've seen. Peep the disrespect to Green. In his face smiling saying "2 rounds maximum". Just downplaying him as an opponent.
@@pokemonovice9758 I’m glad you noticed khabib being fake
I pray anyone who’s going through shit or thinking their life is shit understands you truly have the power to change your life! It won’t happen over night and maybe the heights won’t be as high as in other lives but with hardwork and unrelenting attitude you can truly change things for yourself
True bad man inside the cage with a true heart out of it
you KOd gokan sahki with one punch man that is legendary right there
This video made me break down man. i got tears in my eyes watching this
Love this guy very humble
Inspiring! Thank you Khalil!
Love from kid born and raised in Vegas, actually Khalil Rountree got me join a gym to train.
Seriously one of the more underrated fighters on the roster. The man in my opinion is the scariest considering those soccer kicks to the body to grounded opponents my god.
Keep going brother 🙏 God is with you ,just don't forget who u was and who u gonna be ,and never give up .all the best
I heard Khalil's death metal band not too long ago from an old friend of his. Crazy to hear from some of the locals out in Vegas say how happy they are of him and wish him the best! We all do!
Hope he reaches all his dreams. God bless.
I feel you homie. Nothing but respect
Got me teary eyed at work n shit 😁
We need him in the game‼️‼️‼️
Who's we?
'we' is him and that div from the press conference who wanted etihad arena put in the computer game
Respect man much love
He's a good guy & a real man.
This is so badass, love it and love you Khalil! You're a monster teddy bear!
Khalil became one of my most favourite fighters, I only saw one promo video of him talking and fighting and that did it
I may have been late to Kahlil Rountree's rise, but watching him vs Erik Anders secured me as a huge fan of his fight style, then hearing him on Rogan sealed the deal as a fan of his character. Such a down to earth, humble, dedicated, and interesting dude.
Such a scary fighter with some vicious kicks, he's a real threat in that division! It was interesting to learn about his background, i've been a fan since his post fight interviews he speaks well and shows you really shouldn't judge a book by it's cover
Never heard of him but I remember his pops shouts to dude for changing his life
This guy Fights with a certain ferociousness!
Gives me goosebumps 🙌🙌
I watched this when it first got released. Didn’t even realize I been watching the same dude power through light hw with probably one of my most favorite styles. Much respect and congrats on that smith win. TOP TEN. 🔝🤑🤑🐄
What a man! ✊
His fight against Eryk Anders was my absolute favourite of his! He put on a clinic.
bless his heart
He's a real one for the Molotov solution shirt 👕🔥
Love this dude from the jump
A superstar in the making!!!
I love this guy. So positive and so bright but an absolute fucking animal in the cage win or lose, what a bloke.
Love this dude.
He has a new fan.. this guy.
Really went from seeing the ultimate fighter to being in the ultimate fighter
Love The Story.
Awesome story keep it up Khalil
Khalil 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
My favourite thing about Khalil; he fights like his opponents owe him money
Wow never heard of this guy before but I’m definitely a fan now. What an emotional story. I hope he finds even more success in the future. We need more guys like him in the UFC.
Did you recently get in MMA? Not trying to be feticious, Khalil has been around for awhile now since his tenure on the ultimate fighter 5 or so years ago
@@JangJuiceProductions I was a casual fan for a while just watching all the big fights but I’m definitely starting to become more of a hardcore fan now, watching every event and most of the fights. So yeah I’ve gotten really into it over the past year or so.
@@wyattelwood1533 good on ya man! It’s always good to have more fans
Awesome story, tks for sharing my friend 🙏

Very well done UFC! Great documentary and it makes me like Khalil even more. I hope he can one day compete for the LHW strap.
Beautiful story

I like Khalil well rounded fighter.
He’s definitely inspired me to try for Pro mma, stories are pretty similar🤧
What a great story, awesome dude and beast of a fighter!

One of the scariest dudes to stand across the octagon from, at any weight class.
He should wear a Nsync shirt from now on when he walks in.
I love this. More of this please!
