I usually use Anchor, Arla or Jolly Cow fresh milk for my coffee. I love their taste and they're mostly available in the groceries. ♥️
"Bad milk can ruin very good coffee." As a big coffee drinker and not a milk fan, I definitely agree.
Thanks for this video! So far I like Nestle Fortified, Alaska, and Devondale
I personally like Cowhead and Devondale. Also when it comes to arabica beans, especially most of the single origin ones, i pesonally find them better without milk. If i want my coffee with milk, i normally go for arabica x robusta blends.
Yup. I'm using jollycow, i tried other milks but yeah, for some reason jollycow tastes different when mixed with coffee.
Video Idea, Comparing different brands of chocolate sauce brands for mocha. I suggestion Goya Chocolate sauce should be in the list .
Miss Kristiana, I love how honest you are when you are reviewing. 🤎🤎🤎
This content is very useful.. Nahihirapqn ako mag hanap ng better taste of milk.. My option is that i use only Evap..
Being conscious with my sugar intake recently, Arla is my favorite milk because it has the least sugar content per serving. Ironically, Emborg and Alaska has the most sugar content and these two has been the most natural tasting milk for most because they've been given these milk at a very young age. At the moment, Milk Lab, which has been hyped by many as the perfect milk for coffee, has a whopping serving of sugar.
So, Emborg has added sugar?
@@cicelymcclennon yes. Almost all whole milk has. You just need to check the nutritional facts at the back
I’m planning to do my own latte at home so I can save money from buying coffee in the coffee shop. Im also sugar concious . So What milk should I buy that is best for coffee and is less of sugar that doesnt compromise the taste of it??? plsssss
Hi, I love your videos! I have a request, can you make another video of making the 5 coffee recipe but using fresh milk. I would really appreciate that and I think your viewers will love it too!!! You're a big help to us
I've already tried variety of brands and yes, anchor is one of the best when making coffee at home 🤗❤️ looking forward to try Jollycow soon 💖
HOW DO U FIND BIRCH TREE POWDERED MILK IN COFFEE?
But i love emborg and arla. So good with iced coffee ☕😍❤️
I do appreciate highlighting how a single ingredient can change the coffee quality. We blame the blend, roast, grind, when it all boiled down to the milk used. My 3 favorite brands are Selecta, Anchor and Magnolia, so will definitely try testing what works with my current grounds. Cheers from Manila, Philippines.
Hello Manila Philippines!
same i always use selecta if there's no milk lab available
I used to love Selecta's Farm Fresh milk, too. It's just so creamy and a bit salty even. BUT I stopped using it cause it has carrageenan in its ingredients list, and I learned that carrageenan is strongly linked to cancer 😞. So, beware.
Thank you for this wonderful input I am about to start a small coffee shop.
Hope you try these milk on a hot and cold drinks (Milklab, Anchor, Cowhead, Lactel, Devondale together with the Jollycow one)
I always use jollycow for my iced coffee, I'm glad that you both liked it 😌
thank you.. it helps me a lot.. I used ur recipe fo french press and I got problem with the fresh milk
Wow.. I was planning to use jersey for coffee drinks.
Thank you so much for this.😊😊😊 thanks for changing my mind😂
Hi, Can you compare jollycow to anchor and conaprole for iced drinks? Thanks
Interesting video. I hope you can compare it also on hot coffee latte
We use Arla, Jollycow, and Emborg but somehow Arla taste better with iced coffee, Jollycow is best for hot drinks.
Im currently using emborg but i will try anchor or jollycow nxt tym. More review pls..
Yay! Finally some love from my fave Fresh Milk. Been using this since I was a kid. 😊
You can also try LeMoo UHT Full Cream Milk from France but available in the Philippines
I like this! very informative for business owners and casual coffee drinkers alike! kudos!
Thank you!
I personally like the Arla. And prefer most of the time the Selecta pure farm milk. There are several selecta brand.
I use anchor, magnolia and devondale it somewhat gives me the satisfaction for both hot and cold drinks! Really didn’t fail me
Milk Magic Full Cream Milk tastes good with Iced Coffee. Selecta Sterilized Fortified milk the best for hot coffee (use much less brown sugar since the milk is already sweet).
I go for Arla bec it has less sugar content. The taste is fine with me esp with my coffee
Arla. The best with moak special bar coffee beans for iced coffee. Milklab for hot coffee though.
I've tried almost all milk brands in the Philippines for coffee. For me, it's Australia's Own (Full Cream Milk) and Devondale to be the best milk brands for coffee. The problem with Devondale is that the packaging we receive are somehow below standards because they are usually flimsy. Other than that, both brands really taste good on coffee.
OMG. I thought I was the only one. Can't agree more. I tend to go for Devondale if I want to drink milk every day. It's just a more balanced taste. However I do notice that Australia's Own expires less quickly so I keep that in stock if I am expecting to not consume it as fast.
I use UHT milk not older than 2 months from the packed date. Past 6 month it usually have a slight calamine like taste, the carton gets bloated and milk generally gives more gas and produces too much foam when steaming.
Now i know wich milk fit to my coffee. Thank you and godbless💜🙏
Nice video! May I know if you have a heavy cream recipe for coffee just like in Starbucks? Thanks
Can you make a video for milk that is best for latte, cappuccino, etc?? That is best for steaming
Love this, I hope you do part 2 of it as it is very helpful to coffee shop owners and even the baristas, and I think the product reviews are mostly objective, fair and has no intent to be malicious as flavor preference generally still is subjective
Absolutely. Part 2 coming soon for steamed milk!
Thank you for your tips! ☺️
A very good segment which is good coffee for milk is a good comparison. Here is a question? Which coffee(instant) and Milk is better used for lattes and coffees. Thank you.
Jollycow for my icedcoffee is the best, also cowhead.
This is why we use Anchor in our shop, and Emborg when Anchor isn’t available (but that’s very rare 😂 because Anchor is everywhere in the Philippines). Thanks for this, ma’am! 😌 Saved us a lot of time indeed! Cheers!
Ps. Aeropress series soon, pls! 🥹
sheeessh 🔥🔥, How is it taste?? ill try that if i see anchor. Tell me more about anchor
been using anchor for home coffee and it's delicous
I'll go with this one
Wow thank you so much for this, i agree with jersey when mixed with coffee. Arla tastes watery. I agree with jersey and arla. Now im going to try jollycow.
Please do and let us know.
@@rizasri hi im more focused on the beans and forget to focus also on milk. Thats why im getting bad coffee because of the milk 🥲 im using jollycow now and theres no bitter/metallic taste
regardless of brand but when it is full cream milk thats heaven in coffee☺️😍🥰
Emborg and Arla are the two milks being used by starbucks and other big coffee shops
Thank you for sharing
Thank you so much for this video, i really, really appreciate it. I learn a lot from your videos. But this milk tasting is very particular for me. More power to you!
You're welcome!
Thank you for this review :).. I personally love Arla, since when I use this it did not overpower the taste of the coffee :). it is really depends on your preference :D
How to make all 3 types of midnight a cocoa drink which is famous in Thailand ?
Thank you for this content, saved me time and money♡ will try the emborg and jolly cow
using jolly cow when making my iced coffee at home amd im doing it for 4yrs from now.. it's true jolly cow works perfect with coffee
Thanks for the review, it would be great if you continue with Jollycow and add more common coffee milks here in the Philippines like Milklab, Beau & Belle, Anchor etc. and also try it with hot as well
yeahhh pls review the milk of milk lab,and anchor and nestle fresh milk☺️☺️
beau & belle is the best!!!
Where to buy beau and belle
Jollycow is ❤️❤️❤️
Yaaayyyyy!!! 😍😍😍
Hi chao thank you
For me Alpine evap milk is so good for coffee too.
What do you think of Conaprole?
who here has tried Carnation evap on their coffee? im currently obsessed with their small tetrapack packaging
I live in Norway and my favorite milk is Tine Lettmelk, Tine is also the oldest brand of milk in my country. Its probably the best milk in the world too, ive tasted milk in other countries and it just isnt the same, but im a bit biased:)
I really understand what you are saying. It is crazy how different brands in different countries affect the taste of the coffee drinks significantly.. I am sure your milk tastes great! Would they have them in Amsterdam? I am off to Amsterdam next week :-)
@@rizasri I dont know, but i dont think so. I think our milk can only be bought in the country, so unless you take a detour i doubt it=) I remember when i was in Amsterdam we had to boil our tapwater, and im used to clean tapwater.
im curious! since you mentioned that your personal fav whenever you go here in the ph is anchor and cowhead. then in the video the top 2 winners were emborg and jollycow. so now among the 4 of them which of them is your top 1 pick? how would you rank the 4 of them? great vid btw! very insightful!
Can you compare different oatmilk next? 🙂
For me evaporated milk is the best
How about non dairy milks? Some people nowadays are conscious of their health and still loves their coffee with milk but without the dairy. What would you recommend best especially here in the Philippines
It helps a lot thank u
My fave fresh Milk Brand for my Iced Coffee is SELECTA. It taste good on its own and it definitely taste better when added in coffee💕
I used to love Selecta's Farm Fresh milk, too. It's just so creamy and a bit salty even. BUT I stopped using it cause it has carrageenan in its ingredients list, and I learned that carrageenan is strongly linked to cancer 😞. So, beware.
@@inquiringmind101 Thanks for letting me know. I stopped drinking it few months ago
Thoughts on devondale?
yes i love jollycow and cowshead freshmilk...
Thank you. Very informative content 🥰 more videos please.
Thank you! Will do!
Arla is my favorite when it comes to coffee, 2nd is alaska 😊
When you shake the milk it will give the full potential base on my experience.
More brands thank you!!
Please try milk magic full cream milk (one of budget-friendly)
1. Milk magic full cream milk (budget friendly)
2.Milk Lab (expensive)
3. Selecta Fortified Milk (most cheapest milk ever)
Cold brew version pls
But when coffee mixed with syrup? Does arla still tastes bad?
i always use Selecta or Milk Magic
Half and half is for me the best milk for americano. I really like the sweet and creamy taste with the bitterness of coffee.
try cowhead milk as well!
usually here in ph arla are being use in Dark roasted coffee, But when you taste just a milk it smells corn syrup and it's watery. in Latte art Arla is one of recommended milk. when i tried spanish latte using jersey. It's totally different hit it taste Good and strong when they use Dark roasted coffee. So it's maybe the fact that there's different taste impact when you try different roast of coffee.
correct me if i am wrong. or if you have other opinion please share it with me
I recommend Selecta Fortified Milk if you like to emitate store brought coffee. I also recommend anchor if you really want fresh milk not just a reconstituted milk like Selecta Fortified Milk
I'm also using Selecta Fortified Milk. It's cheaper than those brands.
I agree with cowhead and anchor. They are my personal favorites.
Yay!
Hi, thanks for sharing this review. This is very interesting! However, maybe next time to make it a little bit scientific, you may consider the ff:
1. Clean your palate by drinking water in between tasting of products.
2. Try Blind tasting to minimize being biased with the initial impression like the brand, color, aroma etc.
3. Put equal amount of milk & coffee for better comparison. I just saw some milk poured more than the other products. A few milligrams will have a bigger impact on the overall taste.
4. Maybe asking the preference of the evaluator before the tasting to better understand his/her liking. Whether he/she likes her coffee creamy or to the coffee dark side. Of course the coffee creamy drinkers would like their product maybe more dairy, buttery, creamy, lactonic, thicker mouthfeel etc.
Anyway, i really enjoyed the video. Very interesting! I hope you could share more videos like this.
My request, please try the comparison on different powdered creamers next. And also different milks like evaporated vs condensed vs almonds milk etc.
super agree
this is a nonsense review
✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ ✔️ 😄
Trueee.
I am a coffee lover too i choosed Jolly cow the best
Milklab is the best, we use it on our small coffeeshop.
I use Arla organic and my tastes really good.
Can you make low calorie coffee recipe
I guess that's why starbucks use Jollycow or cowhead
I hope ypu can do Jollycow with selecta, bearbrand, etc like other cheaper brands
I remember she used and recommended bearbrand sterilized from... sometime ago. I've bean using those personally ever since.
I have tried all of these brands. I even tried Devondale and Milklab but I like my coffee better using Cowhead milk. Specially if i’ll make vanilla sweet cream cold foam using Cowhead. The foam is just 😍! My kids dont drink coffee but they drink fresh milk with caramel and they like Cowhead too!
Cowhead is good too!
Yeah i agree with anchor specially for my hot coffee, i dont like arla specially kapag hot coffee ☺️, thanks for sharing, will try jolly cow next tym and also the condensed one on your previous video
which milk is creamier when paired with coffee?
As I have a family history of Cancer I need to avoid the estrogen in dairy so find oatmilk works great
I use Lactel. Just like what starbucks use
Nice content very helpful
Glad to hear that
Im a coffee addict...alaska is my choice...or alpine😊 but i will abide with you since im gonna start commercial😅
I used the Arla organic milk. But i’ll try jollycow.
Let us know what you think!
Did you try milk magic full cream ? I've been trying this for my personal coffee
No. I have not
Hi Kristiana :) you stole my heart
Emborg is my go to
Do all coffee uses whole milk?
Can you try this with oat milk too?
heading to the gorcery now and try Jolly Cow with my coffee :)
Enjoy!
Thank you for making the video, Ladies. Kindly repeat the process with better coffee. I am from the Philippines, benguet coffee isnt even close to decent. :) use the best blends youve got. Cant wait :) thank you
i agree
I love put in my coffe nestle freshmilk. Sobrang sarap at linamnam
I will need to try it!
