Raymo, a professor of Earth and Climate Science and the interim director of Columbia University’s Lamont-Doherty Earth Observatory, reads “Ocean Speaks: How Marie Tharp Revealed the Ocean’s Biggest Secret,” a children’s picture book, by Jess Keating with Illustrations by Katie Hickey (Tundra Books), from the Lamont Core Repository at Columbia’s Lamont-Doherty campus.
