Just in time for Halloween, Willy was joined by Academy Award-nominated and Emmy Award-winning horror producer, Jason Blum. He is the founder and CEO of Blumhouse, which has produced the Halloween, Paranormal Activity, The Purge, Insidious, and Sinister franchises, among others.
Known for being the most profitable production company in Hollywood, Blumhouse has generated over $5.7 billion at the box office.
Jason and Willy discussed Blumhouse’s unique business model, how he built one of the most successful production companies in the business, his career journey in the film industry, and much more.

This is a MASTERCLASS. 100%. As a producer, I think and execute exactly like him, and the last movie I produced was a Netflix Original and Top 10 in 60 countries...I executed exactly like he does in his horror film. I love the way he thinks about the business side of show business. Keep the budget low, and execute at a high level. We did that exactly in TREES OF PEACE and turned a nice profit. The only difference is I did give my director some money upfront, and then a nice back end. What a treat for all filmmakers!!!
