    Hi guys. So I custom ordered a 2022 RAM 1500 Laramie GT Night Edition on 04-12-22 but did a MAJOR screw up. One of the options at the time was called "Front lighting value package with fog lights" and the price was -$495. You read that right -$495. I didn't notice the difference when I ordered it on the summary picture and neither did my salesman. Come to find out, when you order that stupid option it replaces the Laramie's LED headlights and fog lights with HALOGEN lights that are extremely week! Needless to say, I cancelled my order. When I tried to order another one today, my salesman said he was unable to order any Laramie's with the 5.7L Hemi eTorque engine. The manufacturer doesn't give a reason nor an ETA on when they can order them. Sooooo, I ended up ordering the 2022 RAM 1500 REBEL GT Night Edition. No problem ordering that, but for whatever reason side steps are not currently available on that model. Hope this helps someone. Don't do the same mistake I did and cheap out with HALOGEN headlights on a $70k truck. I don't even know why that's even an option.

      Can I ask how much you spent on your order. I literally want either of those editions with the exact same packages. GT and Night Edition.

      @@abeg9959 Hi Abe. I just saw your comment. My dealer charged me $1000 above INVOICE. So it was about $64,000 + tax/license/fees which came out to about $71,000 because California likes to butt rape it's citizens with ridiculous fees and registration. But.... The truck arrived the first week of August and I took advantage of the 0% interest at 48 months. Unfortunately, there were no applicable rebates when I picked it up. But so far.... The truck is amazing!

    I love the 20" wheels on my 2020 Laramie. The grey painted indented areas hide brake dust between washings, smooth aluminum surfaces are easy to clean, 20" tires have more sidewall for cushier ride and pothole damage resistance compared to 22" rims, 20" tires have more affordable replacement options.

    I would definitely take the limited because if you take a Laramie that is fully loaded, it will get to the same price (if limited had the hemi) but the limited’s interior is a lot nicer and has more things to it that are standard like the air suspension. It’s just the interior that’s the difference between these two, limited has more things that are included standard. So I would go for the limited

    I switched from a 22 Longhorn with coil over to a 23 Limited with air suspension. The ride in my 22 was a bit better. But the heated and cooled seats in the rear are awesome. It’s a toss up but I prefer the feel of coil over suspension but I love my Limited with the new updated cluster.

    Fully optioned, they're about 1k apart in price but the Laramie has a slightly higher tow capacity...atleast based of off the RAM configurator. I'd go with a blacked out Limited.

    I have a 2014 Laramie crew cab with air suspension and RAM box. I would probably get the limited, but I do not care for the electric running boards. When I park my truck, I raise the air suspension to max and between that and the WHEEL TO WHEEL running boards, it protects body panels from people who like to open their doors into your truck. While 22-in wheels look nice, I would probably still would stick with 20 inch wheels because replacement tires are cheaper, the rims are less likely to be damaged from potholes and curbs.

  • @RC.56
    @RC.56 Před rokem

    Looking to get one.... really pisses me off about the shifter in console. Couldn’t just leave it the way it was and make the limited GT... I don’t know what to do now.... I am done with chrome, no more..... so you can’t get night addition limited with air flow package on hemi? And can you not get 22s on LarGT? For ride? Since limited is supposed to be more lux, it doesn’t have coils? So it rides more rigid than GT with coils? What’s softer ride

    I’m a little disappointed I couldn’t get the sunroof and bed utility package and no side steps but the dealer did spray in bedliner for me because it didn’t come with it.
    No H&K speakers either but at least it has the 9 speaker alpine.
    The alpine in the new trucks sound better than the one in the 4th gens.
    My alpine in my 2017 is nowhere near as good as the new ones, is it just me or are they actually better?
    Also heard that the Uconnect 5 is buggy.
    I got the 12inch screen and people say that sometimes it glitches and they have to replace it at times.

    The best way to get one of these trucks, is to order exactly what you want, and nothing that you don't. I ordered a Laramie Night, but without a lot of the "top" tier items like sunroof, technology package, and adaptive cruise/crash avoidance. BUT. Still got the 12in screen and H&K stereo with the LED head/tail lights and a bed utility package. Everything I wanted, nothing I didn't. Room for 2 riders and 2 motorcycles in the 6'4" bed. Purpose built. For around $60k OTD. oh... and no air suspension.... cuz we're dropping this thing on its nuts.

    Im going Laramie just because I can get it with coil springs suspension. I wish the limited had an option to go back to coil springs. As we are purchasing the truck we're thinking long term reliability, the air suspension doesn't check the box. If we were to lease the truck knowing that we were turning it in at the end of the lease we wouldn't care. But with California outlawing fuel powered vehicles in 2025, the next 2.5years is prime time to get your long term vehicles. Right now FCA is offering 0% financing and with the way things are going it's the best time to buy. If not mark my words your going to be seeing these same 70k trucks going for 120k in year 2024 and 10%+ financing.
