I watched a drift session for the first time last week at NRD Wakefield and it was stunning. Their track is really detailed with illuminated shops, streetlamps, greenery, just like you'd see on a top-notch model railway layout. All the cars were immaculately prepared. I'm baffled by the extreme castor angle used though, with any lock you're on the shoulder of the tyre, is this to deliberately reduce grip? Cheers - Phil
Thank you for your comment. NRD is amazing. Like drifting round a model village 😂 The cars steer from the rear and the more grip you have on the front only reduces grip on the rear. Grip levels are low so it’s crucial to make the most of what’s available. Did you have a drive?
@@FPSRCDRIFT Thanks for the reply, no, would have loved a go, we were upstairs racing, we do the hot rod class as its cheap and friendly :D We moved there with loads of others when FORCE lost their track.

I really wish they had something like this in the city that I live in now.
I have a team associated tc4 that is about 10 years old it's an all-wheel drive that I converted into a drift car unfortunately there is nothing around Phoenix area that I know of I miss my drifting
Have you checked out the rc drift world wide Facebook group to see if there is any tracks in your area?

Too bad, as in Romania we do not have rc drift tracks😔
what about portable carpet tracks?. we have a few that use village halls one or twice a month by just laying down carpet and using masking tape to line out a track.

This is 3 different tracks. Slide house, ronin drift lounge, midlands drift warehouse, all in England but all hours away from each other 👍
