Was out hiking with my dog and came across this gruesome scene. The deer can’t get traction on the frozen beaver pond and the eagle is capitalizing on this.
I let folks download it on tiktok up until it hit 500k views. It went viral on fb and Reddit too. But of course my account on CZcams doesn’t. Yt sucks.
@PsychicOracle brain, then the skin, and finally the flesh! Bears do the same thing. I eat the cheeks and the skin on salmon, I’m not into the eyes and brain tho 🤣
Yup, somewhere on the coast. The deer must have tried crossing the frozen beaver pond not knowing it was glare ice. Eagle saw this and capitalized. When I went back a day later it was nearly all gone. 2 eagles an a bunch of ravens were on a pile of mostly bones.
Deer and moose are often injured crossing ice then fall prey to Alaska’s meat eaters. The cycle of life in our last frontier.
You got it, this deer did not appear to be injured though, it could stand, but could not get any traction whatsoever.
Nature is brutal
Yes it is!
That is crazy!!!!!!😮
I thought so too!
damnnn glad i can dl here w no water mark, dont need the save feature on tiktok that gives you free promotion if someone does decide to reupload

HELP THE DEER. PLEASE
I couldn’t because it is illegal to interfere with a bald eagle in any way.
