- Inductive or magnetic pick up sensor - used speed measurement. It consist of permanent magnet with coil wound around it. Toothed gear mounted on shaft whose speed is to be measured. Pulse counter is used measure no. of pulse produced per unit time.
Thank you soo much sir this is proof that do not matter fir your video is 8 year older it's still helpful for new students thank you so much sir 🙏🏻❤
thank u bro, this is the best explanation i have ever seen in my life
Very clear description--thank you!
A magnetic sensor when employed is generally a passive sensor and it will always produce a sinusoidal wave and the frequency of the sine wave is used as a measure of RPM whereas inductive sensors are generally active sensors and voltage of known min and max values are used and for each passage of the tooth the max voltage is induced which is measured by a circuitry for a RPM reading.
Truly awesome 👍 . You nailed it
Awesome! Thanks for posting. Now I understand!
Very informative & useful fundamental information.
Nice and clear explanation sir.thank you
excellent thinking bro... keep on doing
when you had the oscilloscope showing the square waveform I noticed this was on "time". I would have liked to see the "voltage" waveform also.
Excellent explanation
Thanks sir
Very helpful, thank you!
excellent my friend, thank you very much!
Very well explained
Nice Video
I really appreciate this . Thanks so much 😊 God bless
Thank you.
Thanks for explaining
Good explanation
Terse and to the point.
Thank you sir soo much
Voltage does not drop, it is induced in opposite direction. 0-5V square is a result of signal shaping, oryginal signal consists of positive and negative spikes (derivative of a step change in flux caused by change of reluctance caused by change of relative permeability = effective core length caused by gap-no gap excitor)
and how come magnet and shaft don't connect to each other ?
Yeah i was wondering the same thing. Induced voltage should be a square-ish wave with positive and negative spikes.
thanks... it is very helpful
Very nice, can we use signal of this sensor, to further use not for speedometer but for some buzzer activation etc
Thanks!
Well explained bro
What is the software are you using bro?
magnificent. video
Sir,Thank you, this is fine to understand to all,Mail ID please for any question in next time
Excellent bro.
nice video indian friend
clear explanation
Thank you sir
Is it possible to measure a voltage of 0 to 5 volts with a multimeter? Or is it possible to measure only with an oscilloscope?
the video is good but the music. I'm trying to focus on what you're saying; the music is very distracting.
Very dubious content ? How does this produce a square wave ?
Awsome
does optical sensor and proximtiy sensor come under this category
👍.
thanks for the video. One question if rpm=3000 tooth no 60 what will be frequency .
no of pulses is 60*3000 = 180000 per minute, frequency = 3000 Hz
hi, i'm interested in the drawing program, i want it where i can buy it
The music in the background is unnecessary .
nice
What will be the output of the magnetic pickup coil ?
How can we check it’s working condition or not before installation?
Change in emf
Can you reply, I see you haven't replied people messaged you from years
What are their applications
is magnetic sensor output is frequency output(sine wave) or pulse output?
i think it must be sinusoidal and to convert it into pulse waveform we need to use schmitt circuit .
u don't want to tell inventor name is Michael faraday law
Sir isme 4 ka kya role hai ye 4 rpm h kya
Don't need d background music...
hello I'm trying measure my speed of magnet so I can create hover board ... is there a name for this machine I can buy to complete my test ?
Completely Inaccurate. magnetic sensors are analog devices and do not produce a square wave but a sinusoidal wave (AC voltage). He drew a square wave on his board to demonstrate the sensors’ output signal but it clearly shows a analog sinusoidal pattern on the oscilloscope. They don’t “pulse” either. Amplitude and frequency both increase with an increase in trigger wheel speed. And BTW, it’s written FIELD not FEILD. SMH.
Need to sound a buzzer at speed 50 in a bike
Either make educational video
Or made a music album.
Don't mix it brother .
Background music irritating
