I am 77 and in 2016 I was working at a large theatre in Oklahoma City with a lot of new voters. I would tell them that Trump is 2 months older and since I started reading stuff about him and hearing him take back in the 1970s he has never exhibited one redeeming or social acceptable characteristic. I was a religious ed major at a Baptist College and Trump literally went from being a negative sermon topic to a positive one in 2015. The kids would say he is a good businessman and I would say, "Well, he just isn't an honest or good businessman and on top of that the government isn't a business. It is not there to make a profit, it is there to take care of the needs of the country.

J6 hearings changed the needle for a LOT of people. It gave many of us hope that justice would prevail. Media needs to GET it.
I really appreciated all that Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney did in standing up for our country. Other than that I didn’t know much about him. This interview was great, let him do most of the talking, and I heard a lot of good ideas from him that made me want him to get back into politics. I especially like that he is willing to change and grow. We need to let politicians do this, not to harp on what they use to believe in, but what they now know to be the right thing to do.

Unbelievable, how Adam’s relatives first stated that Adam was a disappointment, stated that they weren’t judging [Adam], but then went on to state how disgusted they were with him. I loved the part during the interview when Mary told Adam how much Trump hates it when anyone refers to him only as *Donald* 23:09 So when Adam responded with, "Oh really? I'll remember that!" Adam was true to his word! Adam would only use the name *Donald* for the rest of the interview! (Grin)

It showed very clearly during the J6 committee presentations that a very effective and dedicated team was at work. I am not American but watched all of the meetings. I did hate that J6 happened but was fascinated by the work of the committee and truly enjoyed it.
And remember, the republicans just wanted to drop the whole investigation thing and "move on"
I followed it as well and was impressed by the meticulous work done by the Committee.
Adam Kinsinger’s book is excellent. I just started it (audio version) and it’s like listening to a good buddy who’s sharing his experience of some of the most historic events of our time. I admired AK for taking a stand for democracy, and what a delight to find he’s also an excellent narrator (wonderful voice) with a super compelling story to tell.

I was disenfranchised in FL in 2000 as a registered Democrat voting absentee because I was active duty military. I could not convince the registrar Dee Brown's office it was a mistake and another person with my name was the 'convicted felon' they claimed was the reason I was removed from the voting roles. It happens. It happened to me.
