Thank you! Rivendell took longer because a) it was more expensive and b) I took a hiatus from the project for a good long stretch. I think it took me 2 months or so for the Gringotts bank challenge.l and probably twice as long for Rivendell. When you have time and patience, you can sit back and wait for those great deals. I think if I forced myself to do these quickly, it would likely take more work and have more bad flips
Yes! Be patient! Not rushing to a bad buy is just as important as making a good buy. Check brick link for the going rate for each set and figure out if the buy is worth it.
@@lego-my-bricks thanks! my only problem is where i live people dont play with legos much but there are some good deals i see ocassionally pop up. question: how do you know a bulk lot is worth it?
@@somerandomdomino being close to a decent lego community is important. It is far harder to find a good deal on something shipping, though I did manage to find a decent one in my first video where I get Rivendell. Bulk lots are a lot of guess work. You are going off of their description and hoping they are accurate. I've been burned on lots that looked promising based on a few pieces I could see in pictures, but fell short because of abundant missing pieces.
