Ngl, I saw the notification and yelled from joy 😂 I think a word that could describe that song, especially from 4:30 (in this video) until the end is "divine". It's heavenly and while his sound has grown from his first albums, that song does have a similar vibe to it. Super pumped that you liked it. It's one of my favorites in this album 🔥
The story what I got from the song is that he has everything but nothing is fulfilling him without her aka the girl that he truly loves. She also feels the same all these guys are giving her materialistic things but she also feels empty. Abel aka The Weeknd gives her everything his time he gives her space and he gives her his love and these aren’t materialistic things but but yet she still feels empty. He can’t fulfill her loneliness cause he knows deep down she loves someone else I assume this girl is Selena Gomez because he said something about all these men think your kindness is weak. Second part the switch of the song is him coping with the pain with a girl that he’s using for pleasure an L.A girl with all the surgery and stuff but she is helping him with sexual gratification that’s his was of coping with his pain also drugs and sex and alcohol the poisons men use
