Ringo Starr & Rick Rubin interview brought me here. Ringo said the drumming on this song changed his life
I'll have to check it out. This song was released in the aftermath of the Beatles break up, so Ringo obviously is talking about his changing his style as he embarks on a solo career. Howard Grimes was the drummer.
Dan Rather's interview with Ringo Starr brought me here.I love AL Green but I had missed this song.
As an Aries, I felt this. #LoveBeingARam
A Ram commercial brought me here. This is a great song I never knew about
Me too. Unbelievable.
Same here
Here with ya
Yep. Infinitely better than whoever is singing in the commercial.
@@Xanthus179 Chris Stapleton is the one who sings the cover version of the song in the Ram Truck commercials
Real music from the 70's and 80's . Mr Green is the Boss!
RIP drummer Howard Grimes.
This song is an ode to Al green being an Aries ♈️ 🐏🔥
Love me some Al Green!! I have this song on my itunes playlist and I've listened to it about 125 times and never tire of it.

Same here! Heard Chris Stapleton’s cover version on the Dodge Ram commercial and wanted to hear the original….what a great find!
Who have this thumbs down?
i wish i never sold this LP. Best cut on the album.
It's so good but then you got Driving Wheel right after and then I can never decide which I like more.
What did you sell it for?
Not only was Al great so was his band, they sound even better live. Their performances live on Midnight Special and SOul Train were epic, imagine what it was like with their full amplification?
I got to see him in Hono, it was epic
Never knew...thanks Chris.
I thought it was Al Green on the commercial.like the song better even if it is old

Big Sugars version is pretty kick ass too.
@@waynethera2712 hey thanks for turning me on to big sugar...hes excellent! is he from canada?
blues dogg music /rediker, yea I think they were all from Toronto area. I think Gordie, the guitar player and singer is living in Alberta. Bassist Gary Lowe passed away earlier this year. So I’m not sure what the plan is going forward.
Edit: geez been 2 years since Gary passed. I guess this time during Covid still continues.
@@waynethera2712 thanks wayne i love finding new blues bands...
blues dogg music /rediker, for sure. You’ll find the Blues/rock, then blues, reggae, rock then some kinda rock funk. Heated is a great album.
Another dirty blues act or two?
Reignwolf and Black Pistols Fire both Canadian talents.
Ringo Starr brought me here
Good fer you. Not eating enough roughage & being stuck on the pot brought me here 😓
Gov't Mule did a great reggae-fied, rockin' version of this song. It opened their 2007 album called "Mighty High". You can hear their take on the song here: czcams.com/video/ZP7ZLuuUfZM/video.html
Michael Jackson Al green Marvin gaye Rick James prince Chris Brown best singers of all time
I got no problem with nobody on this list but you jumped from Prince to Chris Brown and left out a lot of people. Donny Hathaway, Teddy Pendergrass just to name a few.
Elvis, Orbison, Sam Cooke, Nat King Cole are at least their equals.
O.V.Wright voice will change your life
No shit!
It’s a shame this song is connected to that pile of shit truck.
Dan Rather's interview with Ringo Starr brought me here.I love AL Green but I had missed this song.
