Obvious question, what is the cost?
My Defender is sat waiting for this type of conversion but it doesn’t currently seem affordable.

I think it will range from about 40-60k pounds depending on battery configuration required. This is a dual battery pack at 83kW so it will be on the higher end of the limit. Until battery tech improves to increase energy density at a lower cost theses are going to be expensive kits. If the batteries improve you can decide if you need the range over fast charging and reduce the overall size of the battery packs. Ill be waiting till at least next year to see how the latest battery tech evolves and see if having LFP vs sodium ion batteries are worth it. Compromise energy density / weight for range but if you have a fast changer and you are doing less than XXkm a day is it really an issue :)

A 200 TDI or a 300 TDI is a much better option with a Long range tank it will get you 900 Miles at an average 45 mph And they are BombProof engines with very low maintenance .. These EV Kits will get you 140 miles , Thats No Good to you in the Middle of a Desert 🌵….
