  • Peugeot 307 1.6 109hp timing belt replacement shown in this video. Fairly easy access everywhere. The belt was on it's way to be broken anytime soon, it was too lose and it shown a lot wear. crankshaft pulley was also replaced

Seems ypur phone died during the one bit I needed. How tight was the bolt on the static pulley? I'm wondering if left hand thread or something? Mine seems very very tight. Allen key about to bend/break if I pull any harder...

Hey, do you realign the crankshaft marks until you can put a bolt through them?

Hey! Thanks for the video. Is there any way to check the timing belt without having to place a support for the engine and removing both the metal and the plastic cover? Thanks in advance!

Not really. As without removing engine bracket you won't be able to remove plastic cover. Without removing it you won't see cam marks 🙁

@@SampShop so this means you never can check your timing belt yourself unless it breaks ? Do you know what the P0341 camshaft position (CMP) sensor A bank 1 range / performance problem means ? Cause my 307 petrol 1.6 doesnt have a camshaft sensor

Correct... Pain in the ass engine. Horrible design for maintenance and repairability
