Excellent video; it is very instructive. My advice is to cut the kevlar cloth for the hinges at 45 degrees too. This way, all fibers cross the hinge line and do work. If you put the fibers at 0/90 degrees, only perpendicular fibers work. The longityudinal ones are in fact useless.

Si muy parecido a lo que hice yo, Pero en un 4-m y 2-m por cada ALA fue mucho Trabajo y muchas mechas de REFUERZO en fibra de Carbono, Encima coloque una tela, fina de Fibra de Vidrio con RESINA y Listas para Pintar de Blanco (es mas Barata, La Tela de Fibra de Vidrio y las Mechas o Cintas de Fibra de Carbono, como Largueros. NO SE Como Quedarían mas Fuertes, Piensa que un 4-m no es uno de 2.2m, (Eso es Pequeño y Para Mi, se Queda en la Categoría de Juguetes, NO MAQUETAS Para Vuelo FPV de Distancia o en Triangulo Con Instrumentos de Vuelo,) lo mas lejos que lleve mi velero, fue 80-km y la Telemetria me decía que, las señales podían fallar, por falta de Amperios en la Batería. Al Forrar las Alas, Tenia que haber Integrado Células Solares y que el Sol Recargara las Baterías.... Pero eso Para OTRO Aeromodelo Parecido. Lo Mismo, un Abrazo y buen Trabajo.

Hello, may I know what is the width of the Kevlar hinge?
Normal width is 15mm. If you care about the weight, 13mm is better.
Did you lay you kevlar hinge on the 0 90 instead of 45?
It’s 0-90. The direction of kevlar fibers are parallel and vertical to the hinge line.

The clear spray I use is for the models, but the one for the automotive will work, I think.

No need a spar. Apply UD carbon on the surface instead of spar.
