Yes!!! It was Apostle Thomas who went to preach the Gospel to Indian people to convert them. Later they killed him just like they killed all other Apostles for the Gospel they were preaching.

The Aramaic language came with the Persian conquest of India by Xerxes around C. 600 BPE. You are right. Jewish merchants may have come to Kashmir to buy spices and saffron. I bought this book (Autobiography of a yogi) few months back. OMG words are too difficult to understand. It should be read like a text book... everything should be grabbed into our mind.. not like any ordinary books.. like novels.

He found it too difficult to understand and he just put it on his bookshelf in his library and didn't read it for 20 years. Meanwhile he got into spirituality and prayed and meditated. He started reading the book and soon became mesmerised with Mahavatar Babaji. So take some time to develop yourself spiritually and re-read the book again. With God's Grace you will find all that you need.
Jesus is mentioned as Isha Putra or Son of Shiva in Bhavishya Puran and we have ancient texts in India that talk about Jesus having lived in India in parts of Kerala right upto Kashmir

That was Adi Shankaracharya who went from Kerala to Kashmir. And he was an incarnation of Lord Shiva, it is stated in a conversation in Padma Purana. I don't whether Jesus really came to India or not, all of this is just hypothesis.

St. Thomas is said to have come to Kerala, most probably in Musiris port(presently Kodungallooor) , which was a major ancient trading port of India (the sea is also named Arabian Sea as Persians did a lot of trade with India). So there must be some sense in the belief that St Thomas came to Kerala. There is no reference of Jesus coming to Kerala.But St. Thomas has some connection to Muttapan. and people climb "Kurisu(Holy Cross) Mala(mountain)" as pilgrimage or penance even today.

Jesus didn't come to India, he was at work from a young age to support his family as he lost his father who was a carpenter. Jesus followed that profession being the oldest had to support his family and also would be in discussion with the Church elders.
However there have been many books and theory that speaks things southwards about Jesus Christ. The only way to know about Jesus is to read the whole Bible with reflection and speaking with Jesus.

He never taught his disciples to do meditation(includes to empty your mind) but instead he said love the God with all your mind(in this situation we can't empty our mind) & in Romans 12:2 - do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. & at last He never taught his followers any type of breathe work.
If you say that by not teaching kriya yoga & meditation to his followers, it doesn't prove that he didn't went to India, then I want to say you that I mentioned above some verses & Jesus's own words that proved that Jesus even refuted kriya Yoga, so if he learned kriya Yoga then he should not at least refute his own learnings, hence he didn't went to India.
He even teach that Nobody can earn Salvation by doing spiritual works or Anything, nobody can reach God by his/her own efforts, He teach that human by him/herself can't do anything to earn Salvation, He said 𝙄 𝙖𝙢 the WAY, the TRUTH & the LIFE, no one can come to the father but except through 𝙈𝙀, he taught that by believing in him & his Sacrifice for the whole world's sin only can Save us from the Judgement of our Sins.
Conclusion: So I want to tell you to do one thing that Jesus & his disciples also told to do & that is, "Repent of your Sins & believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for the kingdom of God is near."

Thank you for posting this! Tired of Hindus being so accepting of Jesus as if he was accepting of their faith and practices. His beliefs were against theirs and theirs against his. Nothing wrong with it but missionaries try their hardest to connect Jesus to the cultures they're trying to convert and spin all kinds of narratives to do so. Hindus need to learn that Jesus served the same god as Muslims and the teachings are just as disrespectful of their ancestors, beliefs and faith as Islam is. Keep it separate and know the truth. If people read and think this is correct that's absolutely fine. But I think Hindus see the Bible and Jesus through rose colored glasses and should really start learning how disrespectful and contradicting it is to their own beliefs and cast it aside. We can be respectful of others beliefs without needing to touch it or learn it.

It is definitely not crystal clear. Scholars agree Bhavisya Purana is not reliable. Its oldest copies are from 18th-19th century. From British period in India.
For those interested, please read the book "Jesus lived in India" by Holger Kersten. It explores this very facet of The Lord Jesus Christ's life.

Kiriya yoga in its purest form is practiced by Tibetan Vajaryana yogis in the Himalayas. They practice it in combination with Maha Mudra meditation (Kargyutpa, Saikya and Gelika schools) and great accomplishment meditation ( Nyigma school).

@@sayantanpaul1864 religion and enlightenment are two different things, Religions are made by us humans just to hide us from our fears, where as enlightenment is when you attain the true Nirvana, you don't have materialistic needs and you have learned the ultimate truth about that God. Prime example is Lord Buddha he was enlightened he just wanted his followers to know that ultimate truth about God, he never wanted to start a religion which we call Buddhism now. Christ got enlightened in India, he never wanted to start a religion, he just wanted to show people the ultimate truth, people misunderstood him as messiah and thought he died for their sins. There is cave near my place it is known as "pandavkholi" it's the cave where Mahavtar babaji do their meditation. Many people from kriya yoga living there have seen Mahavtar Babaji and Christ together doing their meditation. Foreigners from around the world and even rajnikant visits that cave once a year. You should visit this place once and you will get all your answers.
