The irony about the whole offence thing is that by most accounts Gary Delaney is known to be a very nice, kind and decent person. Yet in my humble experience, the majority of people who get overly offended tend to be some of the most horrible, selfish and egotistical people imaginable.
I first saw Gary Delaney at a comedy club in Manchester called The Frog and Bucket. It's wear you usually get random people coming on and everyone has a buzzer to buzz them off if they're terrible. I was lucky enough to attend when Gary Delaney came on. I remember him telling his joke about the Christmas tree. 'Are you planning to put it up yourself? No, I was thinking the living room'. Been a big fan ever since. I might be showing my age a bit now though haha. Loved the reaction. Gary Delaney has a lot of clips on CZcams. Definitely worth checking them out whether for a reaction or not.
I always like his comment about the island of Jersey and that they were "trying to shake off their tax avoidance tag and get back to their traditional reputation as Nazi sympathisers"
My wife and I went to see him live a few years ago, he hardly stops to take a breath, when we left our face and stomach muscles were actually sore with laughing. We were both 67 at the time, so not all old people are prudes 🤣
There are comedians that just say dark shit to be popular for been controversial when its not funny, this guy talks about it in a hilarious way. Dark humour is the best when told right and gary does it perfectly
Gary is great, some really dark humor. He's married to the wonderful sarah millican as well, another comedian that offers the same kind of humor (mostly from a female view) but can you imagine the laughs they have in that household. ha
@The Eclectic Beard , Alan there is a 31 minute Gary Delaney compilation on YT from the show Mock The Week which is hilarious , warning though my face was hurting with laughter half way thru so you might want to split into 2 parts .
I love dark humour, and don't find it offensive. I think the crucial thing here is, Gary Delaney clearly isn't endorsing the horrific things he's joking about. The only time I could understand someone being offended by this kind of humour, is if the person actually was endorsing the those things. But then, they would cease being jokes at all. I think knowing and getting this is the key to being able to find humour in really dark places.
Three old nuns sitting on a park bench when suddenly a flasher jumps out and flashes them the first two old nuns had a stroke but the third old nun couldn't reach 😮
If you like dark humour try Frankie Boyle or Jimmy carr. If you like the one liners try Milton Jones. If you want to see an all round great comic look up Kevin bridges
I do love these. Actually got a chance to use one a couple of months ago. My step Dad just got told he has very early on parkinsons. The first words out of my mouth, dead pan smooth was that joke Gary does about shaking tins. My normally very serious step Dad actually started laughing 😂
It amazes me how people choose to go to a comedy club, and there are going to be 10 comedians. You're not going to see every comedian you like they are all not going to be clean jokes. Some will be rude and nasty. that's the idea of comedy. It's different tastes for different people.
Been to seen Gary perform a couple of times, he always starts with the words "I'll keep going and getting darker/offensive until you stop laughing". Needless to say people are always laughing.
don't worry about Gary's web browser history, it is his wife Sarah Millican you should be worried for. lol Gary has his own YT channel if you want to see his TV and comedy store shows.

I absolutely could not agree with you more. Every word is the total truth.
🎯🍻
100% my friend. ❤❤
Well said 👍 Fully agree
I think some people live their lives doing their best to find something to be offended by every day.

I saw Gary Delaney live last year. His one liners are relentless. My face was aching from laughing so much by the end.
Omg I literally just posted the same thing. Crying the whole way through. "One sleep til Christmas!" 😂😂
in case u didnt know matey, Gary is married to Sarah Millican, another british comic. she is amazing too
Saw him. Live at the Edinburgh Fringe! Could hardly breathe for laughing the whole show. He's relentless!

One of my favourite Gary Delaney jokes is "I once went out with a skydiving instructor with IBS.. We broke up, she shat on me from a great height."
Gary is a great bloke, during lockdown he was on Facebook everyday, replying to most people's comments.
Dark and twisted. Perfect
Sarah Milligan’s husband.
You can only imagine the pillow talk 😂😂
No, it's Sarah Millican's Husband.
Yes, but he's funny😉
@@robertomoi2044 That's a life sentence in itself.

He gives us a daily joke on his Facebook page. Some of them had me in stitches
So glad you reacted to this. There's an hour long version of similar stuff on Gary's channel. No fear of copywrite or anything. Just watch.

I never knew they were married.
I'm glad they found each other.
I've seen Gary twice live, and yes, he's definitely not for the faint hearted.
This guy is so funny and crude and I love your reaction .
@The Eclectic Beard , Alan there is a 31 minute Gary Delaney compilation on YT from the show Mock The Week which is hilarious , warning though my face was hurting with laughter half way thru so you might want to split into 2 parts .
Of course, if you really want to suffer, just watch that movie about Princess Monaco of Kent.
@@valerielevasseur8674 And I never fail to laugh whenever I see that reference anywhere!
Brilliant.. I think Jimmy carr said they are just jokes one minute you are laughing next minute you are shocked.... 😂 😂
He is the greatest 'bad dad jokes' comedian.
Brutal. Thanks Allan. 🎉🎉🎉
Once again Alan, you've made my day 😂

I give you the real UK humour on a plate. 😅
You need to come to North East England and meet a bunch of ex miners mate, we all talk to each other like that. It's just banter
Loved this. So funny. Thank you.
Thank you for laughing at the Joseph and his amazing technicolor dream coat joke. Most reactors don't get it because he laughs over the punch line.
And it's technically a third fisting joke ;)
Hi Eclectic, As soon as I saw the title I thought he's gonna love this! Loved your reaction 🇺🇸👍🇬🇧✌️
As you said if you can't laugh at dark humour don't watch but Gary is excellent at it.
EB your humour it is almost 99% British👍👍
Your laugh is infectious
Three old nuns sitting on a park bench when suddenly a flasher jumps out and flashes them the first two old nuns had a stroke but the third old nun couldn't reach 😮
Adds a whole other layer to the jokes about his girlfriend when you remember who his then girlfriend and now wife is...
I went to see him live last year and 10 minutes in my face was already sore. I had to rub my cheeks in between jokes because I was laughing so much.
Your laugh my man is infectious

I was a little bit unsure whether I'd like him?? I'm a Brit, still unsure???? Love your laughing makes my day. 👍👵🇬🇧🙏

You should watch his compilation on mock the week
Very funny
I saw him live a couple years ago and it was 2 hours of this stuff non stop
There is only one Gary Delany.
Ould like the first is the ancient English sport of Gurning, and the second is a chap from the seventies called Stanley unwin, cheers
" she snatched my hand off", even funnier if you know that 'snatch' ( in some parts) was/is a slang word for ' the lady part'.
Yup, lmao
This dude has a great laugh 😂 mate, if you're ever in town, a few beers on me!
OMG love your reactions to our British Comedy! Really recommend Lee Evans by the way, fantastic comedian! Lots of love btw, from Chloe ❤
To answer your question "how do they take all that" with a lot of practice I'd thought.
Feckin' brilliant 😂
Amazing 😂😂😂
This is not standup comedy. This is an adventure.
would love to see him and franky boyle together
English sense of humour the best
Thanks for this, as it's Garry at his best...again! :o)
Off to see Gary for a second time in September.
Can I suggest Paul Smith - The police family and The cancer man. Both are audience ‘involved’
Wordplay
Sarah Millican is his wife, her comedy is just as `in your face`.

Calm yourself, Cleetus
He is Sarah Millican's husband... I'm sure you've seen her... lol. Have you ever seen such a perfect couple? lol.
If comedy doesn't offend, IT ISN'T COMEDY!
How is a joke constructed???
Subject is not always??? 😂
👍👏👏😂😂😂
Subject and target , basic way to build a joke .
Been to seen Gary perform a couple of times, he always starts with the words "I'll keep going and getting darker/offensive until you stop laughing". Needless to say people are always laughing.
My favourite joke by Gary: “ My wife and I are trying for a baby, her mother promised to help…only until I get hard…”
don't worry about Gary's web browser history, it is his wife Sarah Millican you should be worried for. lol
Gary has his own YT channel if you want to see his TV and comedy store shows.
Any subject is funny, it's the way it's delivered. Left is spelt with an L for a reason.
Yeah the english have mastered the English language go figure
I get offended sometimes but what I don’t do is complain on Social Media. Try to ban them etc etc. I do this crazy thing and watch something else.
I really hope you havent given up on still game
Kia Ora hello Allan brother from Aotearoa new zealand hay i hope you are well
It's HUMOUR. It's HUMOUR. If you don't like it, that is perfectly fine. The answer is don't watch it.
Can you react to Stuart Francis
Offence is Taken not Given. Simples..
it's pretty formulaic but ok once in a while., wouldn't like to have to make jokes up like that for a job, can't be healthy.
Really? I always thought Sarah was single.
Dont you yap
Meh overall, about half IMO were funny. Jimmy Carr is the best and Gervais has the best
90% of humour is cruelty, and the rest isn't funny.
Hmm, i found that a little funny but also a little not.
Some OKish jokes I suppose but he needs to work on his delivery. His tempo and timing was off somehow which takes away from the jokes.
I'am surprised at you EB
These jokes are disgusting
At your age you should know better...
I know better than to have folks tell me what I should know better than.
Not for me, and I’m no prude, it’s just not funny.
Completely legit opinion :) Nothing wrong with you or anyone just simply disliking this kind of thing.
Like all things, comedy is subjective.
Saw him live in my home town last yr
